"First of all the house is really nice! There are a lot of great little details that they thought of - and higher end furnishings. Some of these VRBO's are not that well decorated or furnished. This one is nicely funished with comfy beds! The loft area was perfect for our 4, 7 & 13 year old kids. The kitchen is nicely equiped, but the ice maker was broken and they only had 2 ice cube trays, so plan accordingly. It's not like there is a store around the corner! There are a lot of stone steps to unload your car. Also when you pull in the drive it looks like a junkyard, but you will be rewarded...once you see the Cardinal's Nest sign and head left it gets much better! Great views from the house. We saw a deer and wild turkey most evenings when we got back to the house. The hot tub is nice, as is the fire pit. The Hocking Hills area is really fun with a lot of things to do. Make sure you check out the public pool in Logan - it's really nice with a high dive, low dive, curly slide and kids play area. It's affordable and really nice. The pizza place in Logan was good. We found most of the waterfalls around Hocking Hills were almost dry but that's just the time of year - it had been dry and hot. The trails and caves and cliffs are awesome. Great trip! I would definitely stay at Cardinal's Nest again. Thanks for making things nice and easy after a full day of hiking in the heat!"

"This cabin was perfect! We have family in Logan so we weren’t at the cabin much, but when we were it was so quiet and peaceful. The views out the living room window and off the porch were gorgeous. The FIRST thing we noticed, though, was how CLEAN this cabin was. As soon as you walked in the door it smelled so fresh and new, but not like chemicals. There was not a spec of dust anywhere. My dad liked it so much, I think he’s already planning to take my stepmom back for their anniversary. I cannot recommend this place enough!"

"Our family all stayed here for parents 50th anniversary. Parent and three grown children with 6 kids all had plenty of room. So many things to do inside the house and on property it was excellent. Very nice accommodations, will remember this one!"

"This was the perfect cabin for a few night get away. We stayed here with our children and it was perfect. The kitchen was a little tight but for one person to be in there it was just fine and had everything we needed to cook each night. Very close to some of the awesome sites at hocking hills, Rock House was one of my favorite places to see. The yard was great and big had lots of room for the kids to run around and throw the football. The firepit and hottub were both huge hits. "
