This little retreat on the creek was fantastic! It is exactly what the listing says and more! The hot tub with TV was a wonderful addition for these two LSU Baseball fans! We stayed in two nights and cooked, and one night at the country club right up the road!
Definitely a spot I will be coming again. Very quiet and serene. Was very nice to sit on the deck and listen to the creek while working on the computer. And then the hot tub at night with the creek was nice.
Only complaint is that the hot tub seemed out dated. The hot tub felt like warm
Took the family and the pup out for a 5 day getaway to beat the heat. The cabin was very nice and tucked away a bit. The creek/river access offered much to do with the kids there was a nice swimming hole to splash in! Getting Pisgah and the parkway is very easy from the cabin, you can be at all the main Pisgah attractions in about 25 mins. Overall good quality rental would recommend.
We loved the cabin. It was nicely decorated and the perfect size for the three of us. We loved listening to the rushing water of the creek right outside. It was very private although there were homes right next to it. The large porch was great along with rhe hot tub. When we arrived the hot tub was only halfway full and not warm. We had to fill it up with water and wait for maintenance to come fix it. When I pulled out the sofa couch. It was dirty. There was a dog toy and a can of snuff laying underneath. The bedding to put on the sofa pullout was also dirty and had hair on it. Luckily the washer and dryer worked well.
11/10, we have rented probably 20+ VRBO properties and this one is the best so far. It is exactly as listed and the pictures aren't taken in a way to fool you (like most other VRBO rentals).
These owners did a phenomenal job making this place perfect.
Celebrating our anniversary, we enjoyed the seclusion and privacy, although there are a couple of cabins near we didn’t see anyone. The creek is very soothing. Loved this place,
Cute & cozy cottage on the creek. The setup is nice, from the big beautiful deck to the hot tub & fire pit. My husband & I enjoyed staying for our anniversary. My only complaint is, the sofa was filled with pet fur & smell. I would recommend it be replaced with a more pet friendly material such as leather or microfiber to easily clean. We made do by covering it with a sheet. The internet wasn’t the best but probably due to the location. Overall, we were satisfied & plan to visit again.
We loved this little cabin SO MUCH! We caught trout every day from steps away from the porch and enjoyed the hot tub and tv after dark. Our dog loved the fenced porch and backyard area. It truly had everything we needed and wasn’t far from town at all! We plan on staying a week next time. We even ended up saving a neighborhood dog :) The only negative was a faulty smoke detector/fire alarm that woke us up out of a sleep at 6am on our last morning at the cottage. It frankly scared us as we thought we were in danger. Luckily nothing was wrong but it was difficult to rest up for our drive back to Charlotte afterwards.
