Bear Cabin: Charming 2-bedroom cabin with WiFi, AC in marvelous Sebec

Bear Cabin: Charming 2-bedroom cabin with WiFi, AC in marvelous Sebec

10/10 Excellent
"I loved my stay at Bear Camp! The cabin was beautiful, bright, airy, and extremely clean. It was well-designed to have everything you need, with great little details like a night-light at the bottom of the stairs and lots of wall hooks to hang up outdoor gear. The area was quiet and private, without being secluded (there is a 2nd cabin on the lot and neighbors through the trees, including the host), which was perfect for my solo stay. I especially appreciated that kayaks and a well-stocked fire pit were provided. I had a great time exploring the lake in one of the kayaks, which you can easily do directly in front of the cabin. I also enjoyed hiking and swimming in Peaks-Kenny State Park (about 30 min. drive away), and it was an easy 20-min. drive from the cabin to get to a grocery store, post office, etc. in the town of Dover-Foxcroft. Brad was a fantastic host, and this cabin was exactly what I was hoping for to have a relaxing getaway in nature. I couldn't have been happier! I'm hoping to stay here again in the next year or two."

Lake Front House ~ Fire pit ~ Canoes/Kayaks ~ Large Deck ~Grill - Secluded Beach

Lake Front House ~ Fire pit ~ Canoes/Kayaks ~ Large Deck ~Grill - Secluded Beach

10/10 Excellent
"Wow! I’m not even sure where to start with a review of this magical lake house! It was the cleanest, most accommodating, and best-stocked home we’ve ever stayed in. Add the incredible views of Lake Wesserunsett, and I promise—you’ll never want to leave!Beth is a wonderful host and has thought of absolutely everything. We honestly didn’t need a thing once we arrived! We were visiting my son and his family who live nearby, and this home provided the perfect backdrop for our family to spend time together. Our granddaughters loved playing in the lake and beautiful yard.Beth provides kayaks, canoes, and life jackets for all sizes. Our whole family learned to kayak right there on the beach! The beach was perfect for all ages, and even the local ducks were happy to share it with us. The deck was the perfect gathering spot for meals, crafts, and games. Inside, the cozy sitting areas offered incredible lake views. Nothing beats drinking coffee in the morning while watching the fog roll across the water.Unlike some cabins where you feel like you’re staying in someone else’s home, here you feel welcomed like part of the family.A huge shout-out to the cleaning team, they do a phenomenal job! We’re already looking at booking for next year and staying even longer. We can’t wait to come back!"

"This was a wonderfully clean and comfortable little motel that is obviously well cared for by the proprietor. We had a quiet moment drinking a refreshing beverage and listening to birdsong in the evening in their spacious, private back garden. Beds are comfortable and everything was spotless. Cant be beat for the price."

Peace and tranquility on Sebec Lake

10/10 Excellent
"This is the perfect lake cabin. All the conveniences in a rustic feeling camp. Waterfront is very rocky, and lake is only accessible from the dock.So keep that in mind if you are swimming..The host, Kevin, is fully and immediately accessible. This is the perfect camp setting for Sebec."
