Fairfield Inn By Marriott Bangor

Fairfield Inn By Marriott Bangor

8/10 Good
"Hot tub was great! Rooms dated a bit. Very busy hotel on the Labour Day weekend. Breakfast really suffered due to so many people attending . Staff worked so hard to pull it off but selection was limited severely. Eggs awful and I dislike turkey sausage. All staff were friendly and helpful. First night was $415 a night and 3 weeks later $265 a night crazy difference."

"The inn was a nice wayward stop on our way from Boston to Bar Harbor. The staff were great as well as the morning breakfast offerings. Luckily only two stories in height because no elevator other than a service elevator. Ate a great pizza place (American Flatbread) just down the street and walked around beautiful, quant downtown Camden at night. Went and saw Curtis Hill lighthouse as well. Unfortunately the minigolf next door is only open on the weekend as we stayed during the week and couldn’t partake in that past time."

"If you’re happy with a property that is showing its age (but it’s very well cared for/maintained), then this a great spot. Some first floor rooms are motel style while other rooms are regular hotel. Keys are old school real keys. Breakfast was good, but very light on protein. Has a well above average waffle setup, though! Staff was friendly and helpful, and the place was clean. Would definitely stay again if we return to the area."

"Yankee Clipper looks like the highway motel it started out as but it has since been gutted and completely refurbished. Everything in the room is excellent quality, with a microwave and fridge. The bathroom is small but newly redone and so clean it actually sparkled. No kidding. The friendly woman at the front desk told us all about the town and made suggestions of things to see. You can actually walk into Belfast over a footbridge that crosses the water. Beautiful view. I would go back."
