Peaceful log cabin on a back gravel road with private deck and amenities of home

  • Escape to this love themed cabin in the quiet countryside. This enchanting retreat features a cozy open area log cabin with 1 queen bed and 1 sofa bed, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. With amenities like central air conditioning, heat, WiFi, and smart TV, you will feel right at home. Kitchenette area features an apartment size refrigerator with freezer, microwave, coffee pot and a nice round table with seating for 4. The bathroom is stocked with all the essentials you need. The front covered porch features a couch and a hanging swing and it's just a few feet from a huge fire pit with free firewood! Private back deck faces woods and has outdoor furniture for enjoying scenery.

    It's an open style log cabin with private bathroom and kitchenette. We allow pets but require you to keep them off all furniture. Don't leave them unattended and don't let them wander off. We are just a short 20 minute drive to Salt Fork State Park and the city of Cambridge.

We absolutely loved our stay and would come back again and again! The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt like home from the moment we arrived. The bed was SUPER comfortable, the heater was quiet and kept us cozy, and the water pressure in the Love Shack was amazing.We really appreciated all the thoughtful extras, including soap, shampoo, conditioner, extra towels, and toiletries. It’s clearDuance and his family put a lot of care into making guests comfortable.One of our favorite things was sitting on the sweet little porch, listening to acorns fall and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. We were expecting mosquitoes, but surprisingly had no issues at all. We also had wonderful neighbors who were so friendly and welcoming.One person in our group uses a wheelchair, and while getting to the cabin was a bit challenging at first, Duane's wife went above and beyond to help. She allowed us to pull around the back and had her son cut a piece of wood to make the entrance easier to navigate. That kindness meant a lot to us. For anyone needing better accessibility, I'd recommend the first cabin, which appears to have the best ADA clearance. Duane had recommended that, but it was reserved. Duane and his family were incredibly kind, accommodating, and genuine. Their hospitality made all the difference. This was one of those rare places where you instantly feel at home. Highly recommend!

We would definetly stay there again. We Had a great time. It was Very peaceful and quiet besides the cows lol. Perfect for a weekend get away. The Cabin seemed new and cozy. The only thing it was missing is a oven but no big deal. Just bring utensils to cook with in the fire pit or go out to eat

Highly Recommend

This cabin was adorable and the surroundings peaceful. It was extremely clean and very spacious. We had a little deck on the back of our cabin so it was nice to sit out there at night and in the morning. We look forward to our next visit.
