What to Expect The house was meticulously restored from what were formerly an olive mill and a barn, now connected by a large entrance hall and terrace. The structure makes it ideal for groups of friends looking to spend their holiday in Tuscany together while retaining their own privacy as the house is divided into two different areas. The swimming pool has a salted water filter system which avoids the use of chlorine. It is not cheap but excellent value for money for up to twelve people. The hosts are charming and accommodating and it is well worth engaging the local cooking service provided by Marinella. A lovely pool, with plenty of chairs, was the centre of a lot of kids pleasure and adults too. There are good local restaurants, all in the house book- the nearest, Castello is basic but provides excellent Tuscan food, especially pasta. Good supermarket down the hill. This is windy and narrow in places and not for the nervous driver. Overall, you will find this property, as evidenced in the comments books dating back over ten years, an idyllic retreat and perfect both for the extensive indoor space and the two lovely terraces, ideal for eating or just enjoying a cool drink. ##### Martin M.
