"The hotel was very clean, staff were nice all the time, food and drinks were really good and the complimentary ride to downtown Oaxaca was very convenient for our group."

"This was an amazing property! My family enjoyed the dining amenities that were a great balance of local cuisine with familiar dining choices as in the United States. The staff was friendly, mostly bilingual, and very friendly. I will definitely miss my stay and can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much Casa do Adobe.

"The pictures looked great, the rooms did not match the pictures. One room was pretty musty and dark. The room we stayed in had no hot water in the shower and it took 3 days to fix. They offered to change the room but that room had steep stairs to get to single bedroom down stairs and we had paid for a two bedroom. They should have made sure the shower worked before we arrived. They also required payment on arrival instead of at check-out. There are no cafes walking distance, and long waits for a taxi to come to the area. We actually had a few taxis say no when we were trying to come back from downtown. When I texted about the hot water problem (no response when I had called) I was told I should have pointed it out on the first day, like it was my fault! I had let the person who checked us in know on the very first morning. They changed the shower head and then the water heater. Other item I did not like was that back door was left unlocked every day. I would lock it at night and before leaving only to find it unlocked when we returned from our outings.
No I would not recommend this place."
