Beautiful rooms, nice breakfast, but major complaint was that breakfast was served only 7:30a and after. Missed 4 breakfast meals as many tours/hikes begin at 8a in center of city 10-15 taxi, 45 min walk.

Overall, really liked Casa de Adobe. The facilities and rooms are gorgeous, staff is very nice, however they claim to be 6 min driving from the downtown area and this is not true. It is approximately 15 minutes driving from downtown, which is pretty inconvenient if you were thinking of walking somewhere for dinner, etc.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. We were welcomed greeted treated like family. The rooms were very clean. The grounds are well maintained. The food is delicious. The restaurants on site are amazing. I will definitely be returning again for a longer period of time. This feels like my second home thank you so much, Casa Adobe for Making me feel like family. All of the staff is very helpful, courteous and professional. And yes, there is hot water contrary to some of the reviews here it’s just that you have to move the faucet at the opposite direction. The pool is very clean and the hot tub is hot and there is massages available and room service. There is an elevator and ramps throughout the property. It is multi levels, but that just makes it that much more interesting and beautiful. The entire place is filled with art.

This was an amazing property! My family enjoyed the dining amenities that were a great balance of local cuisine with familiar dining choices as in the United States. The staff was friendly, mostly bilingual, and very friendly. I will definitely miss my stay and can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much Casa do Adobe.

Wonderful retreat

Gorgeous accomodation with the nicest, most wonderful staff. Our room was spacious and spotless. The food is wonderful. Casa de Adobe is a 10-15 minute taxi ride north of the main area, so a quiet, location with good amenities close by and easy access to the main tourism areas of Oaxaca.

A beautiful & comfortable place to stay

The grounds were beautiful & the rooms super cute & comfortable! So many neat touches like a light in the rocks that made up the wall. The staff were very friendly & helpful. And breakfast was delicious! I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Relaxing enjoyable stay.

We stayed a week, enjoying Oaxaca while having the Casa de Adobe to escape to. Rooms were comfortable and beautifully appointed. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Grounds were lush and enjoyable. Where things could be improved: The hot tub/spa was colder than the pool which was not something we would expect. Requires a cab ride to get to city center.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel in a high-scale area of Oaxaca, very quiet and relaxing. The rooms were super clean and perfect. The hotel has a great restaurant or there are additional eating areas a couple of blocks away. Walking to the centro is about 55 minutes or a 20 min. taxi ride for about $12 dollars. We felt very safe walking all around the area.
