"Great cottage Property manager Ron was awesome. Nice bonus was not having to purchase or bring firewood. Ron has a fire started nightly for the guests and keeps the grounds in great shape. Wifi not so good "

"We enjoyed our stay in Cabin 1. It is the first cabin located right next to the beach and fire pit. There is a private dock which was great for fishing and the water was clean. Ron the property manager was helpful whenever we had questions and he was up early in the morning to clean the water of weeds and rake the beach. We we first arrived, the cleaner was just finishing up as they had a group leave earlier that morning. Overall the place was very clean, though the towels were not the best quality so I recommend bringing your own bath towels. The beds were very comfortable. The AC is located in the front entrance of the main floor and upstairs outside the bedrooms. The bedrooms got a bit warm with the doors closed at night, it would be beneficial to add fans to the bedrooms. The main floor bedroom has a closet that houses the hot water heater which made some noise at night, though not too disruptive. The pull out couch is not a very comfortable mattress, perhaps suitable for a child but not an adult. That room does not have curtains and faces east so is very bright in the morning. The dining table was perfect for a big group and there was lots of outdoor furniture to watch dinners on the deck. The deck is in shade for the later afternoon and evening which made it a perfect setting for dinners outside. The kitchen had everything we needed and there is a nice big pantry to store your food. Overall it was a great stay and we hope to return next year. "

"A great week to start our summer with the family! The location was easy to get to from Toronto. A mere 2hr drive away. Grocery stores were 6-12mins drive from the cabin. Thankfully, the kitchen was fully stocked with most of the tools, even seasonings/herbs you need for cooking and baking. So all you really need to bring are just food to cook/bake/bbq. There is no denying that the Mediterranean Escape cabin is beautiful. The kids loved their room and spent majority of their days in there when we were hit with heavy rain for a couple of days. The bedroom downstairs was convenient for my in laws who has troubles getting up and down the stairs. I hope that my boys and nephew remembers when they're older, the memories they made during our stay there. The river water was cool, clean and refreshing. Perfect for jumping and swimming in. Make sure you paddleboard to the tiny island with a tree, unless you have Ornithophobia. Otherwise, it was a great experience seeing those large nests with grey cranes. There were nights that were just magical. Making s'mores by the fire were even more enchanted by the fireflies twinkling around us, and lighting the way back to our cabin. When everyone were asleep, I would lay on the floor in the gym and watch the night sky through the big window. Saw a few shooting stars in the stillness of the night. Overall, our whole family would love to stay at the Mediterranean Escape again and add more summer memories in the books!"
