Its wide sandy beaches, natural spaces, sporting, cultural and family events, make Calella one of the most visited tourist destinations in our country. Calella is located just 50 kilometres from Barcelona and Girona, two cities with great charm where you can enjoy their culture and leisure. The train station is just 800 metres from the accommodation, making it easier for you to travel along the entire coast with greater convenience. The tourist train in Calella will allow both young and old to enjoy a pleasant ride through its streets. You will also be able to visit the beautiful beaches and towns of the Barcelona Coast, Costa Brava and the city of Barcelona. · The flat is located on a third floor with a balcony and views of the sea, the beach and the seafront promenade. With that said, I freaking love this little freakish town, which I quickly & affectionately nicknamed "The Twilight Zone." The strangest occurrences happened throughout the month, yes MONTH, I lived in Calella. Apparently since the 70's, Calella, was a booming tourist destination for Western Europeans and the British. It has been on a massive decline over the past decade. What's left behind though are some fun Dutch and English/Irish pubs, a small welcoming expat community, and one of the most incredible beaches you will ever lay your eyes on. Beautiful clean white sand for miles and crystal clear turquoise water. Parties & bars on the beach, some free concerts in the summer time and of course drinking it allowed as well. If you happen to find yourself here, you must stop in at Beach Boys Club, tell the owners, Brian & Cathy, that Amber sent you. Then hit up Brian for his secret stash of American imported Budweiser (Did you know the bottled stuff is always produced in country? Brian believes the secrets in the water, so he gets the cans from the US. Brian is British, which makes this little story even better.) Nous étions à cinq et à notre arrivée quelle belle surprise de découvrir un logement aussi grand ! Calella est l'idéal pour les vacances en famille. La plage à 2 mn les commerces les restaurants on a tout sur place et plus besoin de la voiture. Visite de barcelone en train ou en voiture c'est pas loin du tout. Belle plage de santa christina !!! Une journée pic nic le rêve !!! Que du positif pour cette location.
