In a good area and near everything you could need for your stay. Location was so convenient to walk everywhere we needed to go like: close to the daily night market, the pick up location of both Kuranda rail tour and Great Barrier Reef tours, Esplanade lagoon, great food (all under 10mins). So we didn’t need a car. It was slightly off the main drag and thus a little quieter without being any real distance away. Property has Gym which is well equipped for me given my bias towards rowing and swimming pool is big enough but do not expect a lap pool as you see in a hotel property. The noise from hemingway on weekends may filter through until 9:30 pm after which it felt silent.
