The internet worked well. The kitchen was somewhat equipped, some things were missing or broken and the fridge was completely full with old residents food so there was barely any room to put anything. The place was fine and mostly clean until people are gross and shave their beard over the sink and leave hair everywhere, don’t be that person. My recommendation if you plan to cook is to buy a sponge, containers, and an all purpose seasoning. The only seasonings in the kitchen were seasonings people left behind, salt, and vegetable oil

Room was ok, bed wasn't so good and the room was full of ants though. Beware of ants! They will find they way to the sweet things, even you haven't open the bag yet. It wasn't nice we you wanted to eat your gigner candy, but find out all of the ants. Kitchen was dirty all the time and people didn't wash their dishes. Suhar jar was full of ants about tree days... VERY NOISY at night because people are drinking and no one is not telling them to be quite. Reception wasn't open all the time, not good. Older man was cleaning outside and use the same brush on ground and tables aswell (where you eat!), gross...

Razoável, o quarto em si era bom, mas esquentava muito durante o dia e o ar era daqueles antigos e não dava conta durante o dia. O hostel em si é muito bem localizado, mas tinha muita barata, ainda mais na cozinha. Os banheiros também não era dos mais limpos, mas tudo ok

Cairns city backpackers was the most welcomed and comfortable I felt in any backpackers in cairns. One of the guys who works there, Tripp, was so welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable about the area and overall a great guy to chat to. With two shared kitchens and plenty of shared bathrooms and shower rooms dotted around, I never found myself waiting to grab a shower or use kitchen facilities. Met the loveliest travellers here too and have lots of fond memories playing board games and having a few beers with other travelling folk. Would come back in a heartbeat. Five minute walk into town, 15 minute walk to esplanade and lovely lagoon swimming area. Also check out down under pool bar for great beer, free pool and a good laugh.

Close to shops and city. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Shared toilet was always clean. I have stayed here twice the communal areas (tv room, kitchen, laundry, outside area) cleanliness all depends on the backpackers there at the time

The pool is very small, but clean. We had a double room which had just a bed in it. The room was hot, dirty and we were glad moving out again. Staff is very nice.

#### L'asl non si avvicinerebbe nemmeno

Se fosse tenuto bene sarebbe un alloggio bellissimo, peccato per le tarme sul bancone della reception. Insetti che ti invadono i mobili e girano sul letto, in altre camere presenza di scarafaggi di 6cm (dei piccoli mostri che ti girano intorno) i bagni e le docce sono sporchi e lo stesso vale per la cucina (si salvano solo gli utensili perché i ragazzi li lavano col DETERSIVO). Possibilità di lavare i panni per 4 dollari, ottima cosa. Internet gratis, piscina dove ti prendi tutte le malattie possibili e giardino. Ho usato mezzo flacone di ammoniaca pura per pulire la camera dagli insetti e il bagno dallo schifo..dopo ciò si può dormire. Prezzo ottimo per lo scarso servizio che offre. Siamo sopravvissuti :D

 Staff and other guests were friendly. Unfortunately the blind did not fully cover the window and there was no curtain, so it was not possible to shut out the outside light. It was not possible either to shut out the noise of the air conditioning unit from the building next door. Overall though, value for money.

我們住雙人房，洗手台水槽整夜漏水，浴室在房間，但只有門簾，洗完澡門口就淹水了。 房間沒有很乾淨，位置離市區走路25分鐘左右，不算很近。 店員很棒，服務真的很好，也很和善。
