Walking distance to the esplanade took about 10mins but if you want to be in the thick of things pick something else. The pool was cold and small. Mainly just a lap pool. Not great for teenage kids, although the bbq area beside the pool was great for cooking up dinners. 2 bedroom 2 bathroom was actually interconnecting 1 bedroom apartment and a studio. The apartment I walked into was not of this standard, the cleanliness of the fans was terrible; the bathroom had a tiny child’s bath built into a corner, the hand basin was full of cracks, the toilet seat was not an accurate size for the pedestal, mould throughout the silicon around the bath. Our host were really lovely and were always on hand to help with. The apartment was large and had everything we needed. It is about a 10/15 minute walk into town which we found very manageable. The apartments are on a roundabout so a little noisy but it didn’t bother us too much. We expected from the reviews and pictures that it would be a little nicer. They had kind of a budget reception but very nice and friendly staff. The rooms were good though but very hard beds and pillows. The pool was very dirty the first day but got cleaned to the second day. Nothing special about the pool area but it was calm.
