"Our stay at the cottage was ok, the pool is lovely and the hot tub is a plus. The cottage is very small, we are a family of 4 which was tight. 6 people would be too many as there is only a sofa bed to sit on in the living room so people have to sit at the dinner table in the evening. Thankfully we didn’t need to use the sofa bed as it was broken. We did inform the owner who said she was aware it was broken but didn’t say it would be fixed or a new sofa bought. "The gite itself is excellent. Had everything you could need. Very close to main shops 5 min drive away. The mattresses on the two double beds were very hard but realise this is a personnel choice. Would definitely recommend this gite."

"As a group of 4 adults, we stayed in the property for 4 nights - used it as a base to visit the many sites and museums dedicated to WW2. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. The only downsides were the lack of wardrobe hanging space and the need to take extra care on the steep, twisting staircase. Hopefully we will return. Thank you."

"Great place to stay just be aware of the extra add-ons. If you want sheets for the beds it is extra per person, same if you want them to provide you with towels. If you use the fireplace the wood is extra. Also, you are limited to the amount of electricity you can use or you are charged extra for going over."
