Central Hotel. Great Location

Posted 13-Jul-2017 on Ebookers
Pros: The room was very clean and the breakfast was a good start to the day without being spectacular. A lovely building with a large open stairwell.
Cons: We were in a room with no window as we were in the inner of the hotel. I would request a window next time. Each to their own, but this bed was HARD.
Location: Lots of architecture to see and a shortish walk to the beach (10 mins). Cadiz to me is about soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the food & drink.
We travelled to Cadiz from Seville by car which took less than 2 hours. Make sure you book parking in advance with the hotel as it is a MUST. Cadiz is very old world and we are very pleased we chose to come here. There are lots of shops and hundreds of bars/restaurants and it's got lots of charm. The hotel is in a great location and everything is walkable.

The hotel was very traditional. Food was good although the breakfast was rather limited. The bed was rather hard.

The hotel's location is perfect: in the center of Cadiz and in easy walking distance to all destinations in the old town. The staff was friendly. What's wrong is what is offered for the price: a small room without a window, hardly bigger than the bed.

Great location-generally comfortable

Posted 01-May-2017
Pros: Location and room rates
Cons: Better fitting shutter to block late night noise from the street
Location: Cadiz is an old city rich in culture dating back to the Phoenicians with many cultural and religious influences - Catholic and Islamic.
Small rooms; street side is noisy well into the night. Nevertheless, a comfortable place conveniently located and overall good value.

Functional hotel in an excellent location. Adequate for a place to stay but did not reach minimum expectations of a three star hotel: staff did not speak very good English and were not overly helpful; the building including my room was very clean, but tatty around the edges, ancient shower-head, cracked panes and broken latches on my windows; shower and bathroom was cramped, and there was no enclosed storage for clothes or luggage in the room. Breakfast had decent choice range, but the quality of food was poor.

Canadian Review

Posted 24-Mar-2017 on Hotels
My wife, sister & husband stayed at this hotel for 2 days. Most reviews said hotel rooms were tiny and they were, but we knew this, so no surprise. Rooms were clean, desk staff friendly & helpful. Location was great in old historical town. If driving, be aware of parking. Close to hotel, park car and take luggage to hotel, approximately 2 minutes. No cars allowed on hotel street, parking cost 20 E per day.
