Nicely located. Very close to local markets, bakery, shops, and restaurants, which makes the 5-min walk to parking quite enjoy. Highly recommended.

Located at Plaza de San Juan, you cant beat this location. Good restaurants across the street and few steps from Plaza mayor. If you are having dinner at Atrio, is just few minutes away.

This property is right outside the old city. It is well maintained and we had a beautiful view of the plaza. Dining all around plaza mayor was within minutes walking distance. Front desk staff were very welcoming and made a great effort to speak English for us (this area of Spain has very little English speaking residents). We wanted to add another night stay and they were able to accommodate us staying in the same room after adjusting their plan. Very appreciative of the staff.

The hotel is quaint and spectacular. The staff really nice and helpful. And the room was oh so comfortable! Overall, we loved the experience and will go back again!

Lovely hotel, breakfast improvement!
Returned few days later after road trip, check in staff were excellent, very efficient and helpful. Massive improvement with breakfast, back to normal, excellent standard. Dinner was delicious and our serving staff super friendly and attentive. How we remember the hotel to always be.

Breakfast not up to usual standard
Only disappointment was the breakast. Not up to the hotel's usual standard. The sliced fruit was not fresh, had gone black. The cheeses and meat were dry/old. It seemed that these were few days old, covered in fridge and brought out. Pastries were shop bought. Have stayed here many times, usually breakfast is fantastic. Sadly, not on this occasion.

A review
Lovely old hotel in historic city centre. Friendly, quick & helpful checkin. Comfy bed, good shower, though room was pretty dark with small windows looking into small courtyard. Ate in hotel. Was ok not as good as other NH ones I’ve been to. I have to say there isn’t much in Caceres. The old part of town can be done in a couple of hours and though the plaza mayor is pleasant, it seems rather quiet.

Awesome 16 Century Palace
The room was generously sized, did have a skylight rather than a window; which was fine. Bathroom was perfect with a great walk-in shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Property is very close to the main square; and the restaurants in the Plaza San Juan (in front of the hotel) were highly recommended. Buffet breakfast is EXTENSIVE, but at 24 Eur per person we could not get value from it. Coffee (from a machine) was not good at all, unfortunately.

Deluxe hotel in heart of Caceres!
This hotel has a fabulous location:1-2 minute walk to either the old town or the plaza mayor. The staff speaks English very well. It has a very intimate feel and the rooms are quite comfortable. I liked it so much I rebooked for October.

Hard to find because of narrow streets. Hot there after 3:00 PM and wanted something to eat, kitchen was closed. Manager ask the staff to arrange for us to eat something. They gave us a menu and we ordered some croquetas. First time we see that in Spain

The triple room is very spacious and clean! The hotel location is perfect! Every attraction is just few minutes walk away and there are many great restaurants nearby too! We had a wonderful 2 nights stay and will certainly recommend this hotel to all who want to visit Caceres.

Old historical building full of steps up and down to get to your room. If you are unable to climb stairs avoid this place altogether. Otherwise great location. Rooms are a bit worn-out, need a little update

Superb property!
We had a great time in Cáceres! The hotel was beautiful and service was superb. The breakfast offered so much selection to meet the needs of both locals and visitors. Parking was an adventure but not unlike most places in Spain. These historic properties were never intended to house vehicles so it's about a 5 minute walk between hotel and parking garage.
