Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Presidential Suite 2BR Ocean View Terrace

Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort is a beautiful, tucked-away oasis on the Pacific side of Cabo San Lucas, while still being just a short distance from Medano Beach and downtown Cabo.

We have visited the resort countless times over the years and loved it so much that we eventually became owners. Of all the layouts we’ve experienced, the Presidential Suite is by far our favorite.

The suite offers two spacious bedrooms and comfortably accommodates six guests, with room for up to eight using the pull-out sofa. One bedroom features two queen beds, while the primary suite has a king bed, and both include full bathrooms. One of my favorite features is the expansive terrace, which stretches across both bedrooms and the living area. Large sliding glass doors open onto the terrace, creating a wonderful indoor-outdoor feel and beautiful views.

The kitchenette is equipped with the essentials, including a full-size refrigerator, microwave, stovetop burner, and coffee maker.

Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach is a gated and guarded upscale resort set along a beautiful stretch of Pacific coastline. The grounds are one of the things that make the property so special. You can wander through lush landscaping, gardens, and waterfalls while exploring the many areas throughout the resort.

There are six pools, many with ocean views, along with swim-up bars, hot tubs, and an adults-only pool. Throughout the property, you’ll also find several restaurants, a deli, boutiques, a small market, and a beautiful chapel offering services.

The resort offers plenty to do while still maintaining a peaceful, secluded atmosphere. Kids can enjoy the daily Kids Club, game room, arcade games, and scheduled activities around the main pool. For adults, there is a full-service European-style spa, fitness center with classes, tennis courts, beach volleyball, and additional activities throughout the property.

We often enjoy the resort’s all-inclusive option, which can include food and beverages not only at Sunset Beach, but also at sister properties Pueblo Bonito Rosé and Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos on Medano Beach. A complimentary resort shuttle provides transportation between the properties. Medano Beach offers a completely different Cabo experience, with a swimmable beach, restaurants, bars, pools, and easy access to downtown.

One of the things I feel I can offer guests beyond simply providing accommodations is experience. I’ve taken this trip many times and in many different ways — with young children, teenagers, family, friends, girls’ trips, celebrations, weddings, work events, and relaxing getaways. We’ve done everything from all-inclusive stays to grocery runs at Costco, cooking in the suite, renting a car, and exploring restaurants both on and off the resort.
