Little Creek Cabin, 2 bedrooms, 1.5 Baths (Sleeps 4)

Little Creek is a charming, but small cabin. Best fit is (2) adults or maybe (2) adults and 1-2 Children. Max occupancy is (4) people Total.

Tucked away in the picturesque pines and Majestic Hardwoods of the North Carolina High Country sits a cabin built from 200 year old logs named Little Creek. Just over one mile from the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway, this romantic getaway is situated on over 7 wooded acres at the end of an undisturbed lane which will provide much sought-after peace, quiet, and privacy. Guests can enjoy hiking on cabin grounds or grab a much-needed breath of fresh air curled up under the tin-roofed front or back porch with a steaming mug of coffee. On the property rests a small flower garden that attracts local butterflies and hummingbirds eager to welcome you to your newest home away from home. At the back of the property while watching the sunset over the mountains you will also be able to view an enchanting Christmas tree farm.

As you approach the cabin you will be struck by it’s picturesque setting. The exterior is authentically constructed from beautiful, antique, hand-hewn logs. This interior will not disappoint! You are greeted at the door by hickory plank flooring and a striking wood-burning fireplace. Complete with two bedrooms, the Master is located on the main level of the property, offering an antique queen bed frame and pillow-top mattress. (Please note that the frame and mattress causes this bed to be HIGHER than normal). The second bedroom and one-half bath comprise the second level of the cabin and house a double and twin bed. This unique cabin is the perfect fit for a couple or small family.
Whether you’re looking to experience the great outdoors, need a quiet escape from the city, or are planning a romantic mountain getaway, we would like to cordially invite you to experience all that Little Creek Cabin has to offer.

Little Creek Cabin is conveniently located to Boone/Blowing Rock, The Jefferson’s, Historic Todd/New River, and the Blue Ridge Parkway is just over the ridge.

WINTER RENTALS: 4wd or all wheel drive vehicles are recommended during winter months when visiting anywhere in the mountains, as you my encounter snow/slippery conditions.

Little Creek Cabin was just as advertised. The cabin was clean and felt welcoming. The kitchen was well organized and easy to use. We enjoyed sitting on both porches. We saw deer from the back porch while drinking our morning coffee.

Sweet Little Cabin

The location and setting of this beautiful old cabin alone is reason to select as a vacation destination. Perfect accommodations for a small group to relax and enjoy a quiet spot nestled in the woods with a Christmas Tree farm just over the hill. A perfect little hide away.

Relaxing weekend with beautiful views

We stayed here for a weeding nearby. The host was super great reaching out making sure we had everything for our stay. The house was so cute !! I loved the kitchen and living room space. The outside area was so nice with serval outside seating areas to enjoy the quiet mountain views. We saw so many deer ! Can’t wait to visit again!

This property exceeded our expectations in every aspect. It was impeccably clean and setting at the end of the road, the privacy and relaxation was great . Wonderful stay

My wife and I spent the weekend at this wonderful cabin and it was all we'd hope it would be. The cabin was rustic in design but had all the amenities you would want. Sitting on the back porch and walks to the beautiful view out back made the weekend very relaxing and restful. We definitely plan on coming back. Paul was terrific and very helpful.

Birthday Getaway at Little Creek Cabin

When we pulled up we immediately fell in love with this adorable little cabin and the property it sits on. As soon as you open the front door it feels like a home away from home. The views at the top of the hill overlooking the Christmas Tree farm were breathtaking as well. The owner of the property is really nice and answers any questions you may have within minutes. This was a little slice of heaven hidden in the mountains, we can’t wait to go back!

Great stay away from the crowds

The property was as advertised. We used the location for a great base camp to hike and kayak. Cozy one bedroom with a loft. Great for a small family. A little off the beaten path which is perfect if you want to get away. Modern kitchen appliances and finishes that are great if you enjoy cooking together. Everything is relative but for our party convenient into West Jefferson or Blowing Rock. The property manager was active in communication and made sure we were set. Would definitely stay here again.

Little Creek Cabin

The cabin is a beautiful secluded gem surrounded by trees and where you can see a beautiful night sky. If quiet , peaceful and cozy is what you need , this is the place. It is about a 20 minute drive to a great grocery store and the towns of West Jefferson and Boone and very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. There is wonderful hiking in all directions and access to the New River for Kayaking in the warmer months. This cabin and the surrounding area is a slice of paradise. The host, Paul Reardon, could not be more helpful or kind.

A Dream

No need to think twice! From the moment I booked, Paul (the host), went above and beyond with communication—answering all my questions quickly and making sure I had everything I needed. Even during our stay he was a text away, responding within minutes. The location is incredibly private, tucked away and backing up to a stunning Christmas tree farm, which made for the most peaceful mornings and beautiful views. The cabin itself is so cozy, with every little detail thoughtfully arranged for comfort. We really appreciated how clean it was—everything we touched was spotless and this is hard to find. Highly recommend.

(Not sure why the skiing question is part of the VRBO review form; it was October so there was no skiing.) This was our first stay in Paul’s cabin but it definitely won’t be our last! Myself and my Mom went on a girls mountain weekend trip! We stayed 3 nights and Paul went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect before and during our stay. The cabin was immaculate!! The kitchen is stocked with any and every gadget you could think of if you wanted to stay in and cook. We took the last day of our trip as sort of a relaxing day, we wondered about the property and checked out the Christmas tree farm next door, sat and watched the little deer family that visited us daily. It truly was a much needed get away.

The cabin is cozy well equipped.
