The perfect place to relax

Posted 22-Dec-2015 on Hotels
This was just what I needed for a relaxing break away from the city. The location is excellent - it's a pleasant walk into town, but far enough out that it's nice and quiet. The apartment itself was also very quiet - I rarely heard any of the other guests - and has everything you need. I particularly loved the daybed in the private courtyard - the perfect place to escape the early afternoon heat. I'd highly recommend Julian's Apartments, and can't wait to go back there again!

Spacious room; close to beach

Posted 28-Nov-2015 on Wotif
Cons: There was a huge ant colony in the bathroom, and the exterminator was called on the day I left.
Close to the beach and a couple of cafes. Spacious with backyard. Washer. Relaxing. Underground parking.

Perfect choice of location and apartment

Posted 27-Sep-2015
Pros: Such a great location and so peaceful.
Location: Best Lighthouse walk is to go along the coast, starting opposite Julian's. Along the way grab breakfast or coffee at open-air Pass café on beach.
This is a wonderful, small boutique apartment block in an ideal location opposite Clarke's beach. It has been tastefully designed so that each apartment feels cosy and private. The large, open terrace and covered outdoor nook added more space and were perfect for reading or eating outdoors. I loved the light from the wall of glass sliding doors opening onto the terrace. A sense of extra space is also created via the high pitched ceiling. I was in apartment 10, which was a good choice for those happy with a large studio apartment. Kitchen was modern and the bathroom was clean and functional, with a good sized shower and a washing machine. The location is perfect - peaceful part of Byron, with housing on one side of road, bush and the glorious beach on the other. To get to busy town was just a 5-10 minute walk away. There is also a great milkbar/coffee shop (the Topshop) nearby if you don't want to walk into town just for milk or coffee. The couple who run the hotel are delightful and extremely helpful in answering any questions or giving sightseeing tips. I would definitely stay at this location - and at this apartment block, again!

A couple of small things

Posted 19-Apr-2015
Pros: The outdoor area was great & relaxing
Cons: Cleaning or checking the China after guest leave
Location: Nice walk to pool, lighthouse, beach & restraints
Heaps of plates, bowls, cups etc were filthy dirty when we first went to use them. A couple of cockroaches throughout the week From the moment we arrived there were heaps of fruit flies in the room mainly around the kitchen A wire screen door would be good to have The fridge was way to small for people staying a week & far too low down. It was a bar fridge. However the unit itself was beautiful & relaxing It had everything you need including fruit flies

GREAT and comfortable apartment.

Posted 26-Feb-2015 on Hotels
I'm thankful that this holiday apartment was so comfortable because I was cooped up in there for a day thanks to a migraine and the torrential wind and rain following Cyclone Marcia up north. It is about a 5-7 minute walk into town which was only inconvenient because of the weather, otherwise I wouldn't normally find this a worry. And there are many beaches nearby. I found it to be quiet overall. The courtyard was like a little sanctuary for me. Beautifully presented and relaxing, and also had great sliding shutters to keep the wind and rain out. The lady at reception (I'm sorry, I don't remember your name) was so so so lovely. She allowed me to hold my luggage in storage, use a spare towel and let me use the staff bathroom to freshen up and change my clothes as I was soaked thru, before catching my shuttle. I highly recommend Julians Apartments, and would happily stay again.

Comfortable and clean apartment

Posted 28-Oct-2014
Pros: It was really comfortable
Cons: Nothing really
Location: Very close to Byron Bay centre fifteen minute walk
Very good pre- arrangement as we arrived late at night. Friendly and helpful staff. Very welcome was the little bottle of milk and little bag of quality cafetiere coffee left for (not just instant). Would stay there again without hesitation.

Great location

Posted 30-Sep-2014 on Hotels
We were very fortunate to receive an upgrade to a unit in the Cape apartments next to Julian's. The apartment we had was very spacious and clean, including a recently renovated bathroom which was fabulous. All amenities were catered for. making our stay peaceful and relaxing. The location is terrific being directly opposite the pathway to the beach near The Pass. The walk into town is very easy, as is the walk to the lighthouse. I would highly recommend these units and would stay here again.
