"We had a good stay overall. The room and bathroom are on the small side, but I feel the price reflected that. The mattresses were comfortable, although the bed base was a little small for the mattress.(I rolled off the bed in my sleep, im an edge sleeper😂) The walls are also very thin, and you can easily hear your neighbors talking (and other noises). On the positive side, the shower had plenty of hot water and great water pressure. For the price and location, I think it was a good deal overall."

A Haven in the Heart of Elk Country

"Location of cabin was great, in the heart of where you would want to be to see elk.It is advertised there is internet, but we didn’t have it half the weekend. There is also no cell service. No internet, no TV. If you work from home and need service, it’s not reliable. We had to drive to get cell service to connect to the hotspot to use the laptop.It should also be noted bed linens, pillows, and bath towels are not provided. We were told the day we got the address and key box info that there would be a charge of 15 per bed, and 5 per bath towel set if we wanted them to provide it.The kitchen is pretty much equipped with everything one would need. We only used the oven and coffee pot during our stay.Due to being there in mid September, we didn’t need the heat or air. Pavilion and fire pit were nice! We took our own firewood, but there was wood available very close at the Rut and Bugle Outlet for a reasonable price. (I might add their Blackberry brandy was delish!)"

"Very nice home with large back yard and fire pit. Just a short drive to the Elk Country Visitors Center and a mile from the Cross overlook. Saw my first porcupine in the wild in the treeline out back. We had a wonderful time, thank you!"
