Buzios is situated approximately 85 miles (137 kilometers) east of Rio de Janeiro and about 620 miles (998 kilometers) southeast of Brasilia, the national capital.

Head to Duck Lake or Geriba Lagoon. These are two spots where the locals love to escape to see if the fish are biting. In this area these two natural havens are attractive destinations where tourists can savour picturesque sunsets.
