The Storchennest cottage welcomes you to a setting in Butjadingen that is both rural and coastal, located just about 400 metres from the sea and approximately 1,500 metres from the beach. This detached holiday home was last renovated in 2026 and offers 78 m² of living space with well-thought-out amenities that ensure optimal comfort for up to six people.

With three bedrooms, a total of four rooms, and an open-concept layout, the Nurdachhaus is particularly well-suited for families or couples travelling together.
Babies and toddlers are also welcome—a cot, a high chair, and stair gates are provided.
In addition, up to two pets are allowed to stay, and the fenced-in property enhances safety for both children and pets.

The light-filled living area features laminate flooring, a cosy sofa, armchairs, and modern technology such as a satellite smart TV, digital connection, and high-speed Wi-Fi (100 Mbit/s or faster).
Central electric heating ensures comfort in any weather.
Family-friendly amenities, including games and books, ensure a welcoming atmosphere.

The wood-burning stove provides cosy warmth and comfort even during the typical North German “crappy weather”

The open kitchen adjoins the living and dining area and is equipped with everything needed for stress-free self-catering: ceramic cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee maker, Senseo espresso machine, electric kettle, toaster, blender, and a full set of cookware and tableware. Spices are also provided. A dining table and comfortable chairs provide space for convivial meals.

The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, sink, mirror, makeup mirror, and window.
For added convenience, a clothes rack, iron, and vacuum cleaner are provided.

Outside, you’ll find a well-maintained garden with a furnished patio, an awning, sun loungers, and a lawn for sunbathing.
A charcoal grill, a garden shed, and patio furniture are available—ideal for relaxing outdoors.
The enclosed and fenced-in garden area is particularly family- and dog-friendly.
Two private, free parking spaces are located directly on the property.
There is a dedicated charging station for e-bikes.

The location in the holiday area is characterised by short distances to important amenities: A supermarket, restaurant, and bank are each about 600 metres away, and public transport is accessible in about 500 metres. Doctors, amusement parks, mini-golf, churches, and a variety of dining options are also easily accessible.

Active holidaymakers benefit from the proximity to the sea and the beach, as well as a wide range of activities such as fishing, biking, Nordic walking, water sports, swimming, surfing, sailing, rowing, and windsurfing. The surrounding area is also ideal for walks, birdwatching, and a variety of boat trips. A beach chair is available for relaxing.

Utility costs (electricity, sewer/water, heating) are billed based on your personal usage (= metre readings) and deducted from your security deposit after departure.
You may optionally book a pet for an additional fee. Please understand that we can only accept pets that are clean and well-behaved. Pets are not allowed on the beds.
