"Pirate theme doesnt disappoint. Room was very cool and decorated from floor to ceiling. Despite it being a kid oriented hotel, the food for dinner and breakfast was delicious. We tried shipwreck for dinner and bricks for breakfast. Abundant amount of food and all cooked w flavor. We were very happily surprised. The king bed in room was comfortable and it was a good quiet nights sleep. Having the park in walking distance cant be beat."

"What really made our stay, my son and myself, great was the welcome we received upon arrival from a staff member named Sharmain (I hope I’ve spelled her name correctly!). She was wonderful, friendly, warm, and happy to help with everything we needed. After checking in with her, I immediately felt confident in my decision to stay at your hotel for the entire duration of my trip. The only two negative points I have - which have nothing to do with Sharmain, as I am sure she would have helped resolve them had I mentioned it - are: #1- The room odor: There was a persistent, unpleasant smell in room 1105 throughout my stay. It seemed to be embedded in the carpet. #2 -The breakfast selection: The offerings felt extremely limited. There were no eggs, sausage, or hot items of that sort, despite the advertisement of a continental breakfast. The spread consisted only of yogurt, pre-wrapped bagels and muffins, fruit juice, and a pancake machine. Had Sharmain not made such a great first impression, the breakfast alone might have prompted me to look for another hotel, as I was really looking forward to a full continental breakfast each morning. Sharmain completely saved the experience. She is an exceptional asset to your team and truly deserves recognition or a promotion. Thank you."

"Fun house for a family get away, with a pool table and backyard pool. Fully stocked kitchen for cooking/eating in. Outdoor grill too.Short walk to downtown Broadway Street with many restaurants. Bikes are available to ride to Lakefront park."
