Living room: With Freeview TV, DVD player and CD player.
Kitchen/dining room: With electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
First floor.
Bedroom 1: With double bed.
Bedroom 2: With twin beds.
Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet.. Electric central heating (£21 per week, 1st October-31st March paybale on arrival), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Garden with patio and garden furniture (access to owner’s art studio). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: Couples, family and holidaymakers only.. In the centre of a quaint canalside village, this charming original cottage, one of a pair, combines contemporary country style with original beams and panelling, to offer a lovely holiday home within reach of a host of visitor attractions. Alrewas has three dining pubs and a mix of shops and takeaways, and there are lovely country walks along the canal tow path just 100 yards from the cottage. The National Memorial Aboretum is 0.5 miles away and Lichfield is 5 miles. Drayton Manor, Twycross Zoo and Tamworth Snowdome are 12 miles away, and Calke Abbey, Shugborough and Sudbury Hall (NT) are 15 miles away. Alton Towers, Trentham Gardens and the Peak District National Park are within an hour’s drive. Shop 300 yards, pub 200 yards.

how we spent our time during the week
A clean and comfortable cottage in lovely village, good range of shops, buses 1x hour to Lichfield and Burton-on-Trent. Canal walks 2 min away. National Monument Arboretum at must. Lichfield - cathedral, Erasmus Darwen's home very interesting. Train to Birmingham from Lichfield was a good day out. We loved the area.

Very tidy cottage,ideal for a visit to the national arboretum. Lovely dog walks along the canal,property is set in a pretty village with very easy access.

Lovely village , lovely cottage , old, cosy . Very clean and all you need for a country break . Gorgeous country garden to enjoy the sunshine. We didn’t get much but enjoyed our break .
