"Excellent quiet location. Traditional pub atmosphere with log fire welcoming you on arrival. Breakfast was superb especially the eggs royal."

"Really friendly, excellent service food is amazing"

"Lovely hotel with clean rooms and great staff."

"Cottage room was nice, clean bathroom. Staff lovely, especially in the breakfast area. Very good breakfast, menu order & buffet. Lovely views of golf course. Great location for seeing the area. The spa area is poor. Really uninviting & needs a deep clean."

"Very nice hotel, well situated by the coast. The room was spacious."

"The room was clean, lovely to have a bath. Breakfast was delicious by a wood burning stove. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Loved being close to Wells next the sea. Garden view room 5 did not really have a view of the garden from the balcony because it was on the end. Overall, enjoyed the stay."

"Excellent"

"Stayed a few times, always great. We had the Monroe room this time and it was excellent Staff friendly, breakfast was lovely"

"Amazing quirky place with lots of facilities and great food."

"This hotel is ideally situated - close to the beach. Our room was very large with a kingsize bed. It also had a set of binoculars! The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Food and service were great. We parked outside the hotel, but there is lots of parking nearby."

"Amazing hotel and restaurant! Staff were all so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend!"

"Lovely little hotel. Breakfast choices were really good. Full English was very tasty. Staff friendly and welcoming. Shower wasn’t very powerful but we coped. "

"We loved our stay at the Dabbling Duck. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room perfect and property in a gorgeous location."

"Lovely stay and such a dog friendly hotel and great location"

"Garden Suite was lovely and beautiful bathroom (with TV screen set in the tiles!) Lovely quality breakfast. Allowed to leave dog in room, but not to take him into breakfast which was understandable. Our dog kicked off barking and we couldn't leave him. Massive thanks to Caroline in the dining room as she accomodated as seperately in a room overlooking the gardens so we could bring our dog with us into breakfast!"

"Such a lovely stay, really felt like"

"Excellent small hotel. Every amenity, helpful staff and good restaurant. Highly recommended."

"Fabulous building from 1650. Beautiful town. Food was excellent and staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing!"
