The open plan living and dining area leads directly out to a private courtyard with a bistro table, ideal for morning coffee, and, at the rear, there is an enclosed garden with far-reaching rural views and a hot tub, the perfect way to relax after a day spent exploring the surrounding countryside. Boasting contemporary interiors and a well-equipped kitchen, The Stables also welcomes up to two dogs and is a charming escape for families, couples and groups of friends looking for a peaceful Cotswold getaway. The Stables at Sturt Farm Courtyard can be booked either on its own, or with The Mews at Sturt Farm which sleeps two guests. Located next door, the two together offer an ideal setup for two families, or for friends travelling together Accommodation This two bedroom holiday home, nestled in the countryside on the edge of Burford, is ideal for a relaxing break. We had a lovely time staying at The Stables over the New Year period. There was plenty of space for two adults, a baby and dog - a cosy but not cramped space. The place was decorated nicely throughout and we probably benefited from being one of the first to stay there, so everything is fresh. Great quality kitchen! Saw a previous review about an uncomfortable sofa and we were mindful of this, but in our opinion it was absolutely fine. It may be on the smaller side but if it were bigger then it would be disproportionate to the space, so no complaints there. David was an excellent host and very promptly resolved an incredibly minor hiccup regarding coffee pods.
