Borgo Castelrotto is one of three residences at Tenuta Castelnuovo Tancredi, a 600-hectare private organic estate that has belonged to the same family since 1897. Together with Villa Aiale and the Castle, it forms part of a working farm in Val d'Arbia, between Siena, Montalcino and the Val d'Orcia.

The house is rented exclusively to one group at a time, accommodating up to 18 adults (plus 2) across 9 double bedrooms and 8 bathrooms.
The main building holds 7 bedrooms upstairs, with a large living room, dining room and a big kitchen on the ground floor connected by external stairs, shared by the whole group.
A separate dependance, the fienile, has 2 further bedrooms — one on the ground floor — with its own dedicated kitchen, guaranteeing complete privacy for that part of the group.
The swimming pool at the centre of the property is reserved solely for the guests renting Borgo Castelrotto, with views over the estate's own olive groves and vineyards towards the valley below.

No roads or traffic reach Borgo Castelrotto: it sits inside the estate itself, surrounded by the woodland, pasture and cultivated land that the family has farmed organically for generations.

The same land produces the estate's wines — Ammiraglio, Ambasciatore, Fiamma and Assedio — along with D.O.P. extra virgin olive oil and grain, all of which guests can taste during a cellar visit or an evening aperitivo.

A private cooking class with our chefs is also available, focused on the traditional recipes and local ingredients of this part of Tuscany.

On request, we organise breakfast, wine tasting in the estate's cellar, cooking classes, in-villa dining, excursions, and a pre-arrival grocery service.
