A great way to begin your day in Bargara is with a morning stroll along the Esplanade. This paved pathway stretches for 3.7 miles (6 kilometres) and is perfect for bikes, strollers and scooters. Wander along the coastline and visit the viewing platforms or choose a picnic area to return to later. Magnificent beaches stretch from Neilson’s Park to Archie’s Beach. Take the kids for a swim in the Basin, which is a beautifully sheltered swimming area that is best explored at high tide. Bargara Beach is a family-friendly beach directly fronting the northern section of the village. Surfers can check out the breaks that stretch from either side of this patrolled beach.
