"Room was amazing, they kindly upgraded us and it really made our stay so nice as we've never had that before. The room was beautiful as was the hotel so full of character. Staff were always friendly and helpful, communication before, during and after our stay was faultless. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious. Great location. We didnt really experience the spa at all but the rooftop piol area was phenomenal and very clean. We would stay again"

"We traveled from USA and were impressed with the hospitality of this hotel. We had a wonderful stay. Hotel was beautiful, clean and welcoming. The food was delicious with plenty of variety and drinks were excellent- there was always something to enjoy. The staff were friendly and attentive, overall it was a great vacation in Iberostar Albufera Playa, I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway."

"We were upgraded to a beautiful suite. The reception was very helpful and because we had 1/2 board we even had dinner in the room.Breakfast had a nice selection and wasn’t crowded or noisy at all. The I would have liked different pillows and a little softer bed but the room was awesome! "Overall, a nice place to stay directly in old town Soller, but it fell short of my expectations from the glowing reviews. It's advertised as a 5-star hotel, but that was not our experience at all. I will start with our room, which was located in the annex. The room paralleled a college dorm with Ikea-quality furniture, white walls that were all scuffed up, closet and mini-fridge doors that needed to be lifted up first in order to be closed/moved, issues with Wi-Fi connection, and a rock hard mattress with unsupportive pillows. It was a non-smoking room, but the faint smell of cigarettes lingered each time we walked into the room (which made me wonder if the room directly adjacent was a smoking room given that I saw an ashtray on their balcony). Staff was overall incredibly pleasant and kind! At check-in, however, we were not offered any help with our luggage or the car and were given improperly programmed room keycards. As for hotel parking, it's limited and there is no valet system, so spots can be blocked if guests themselves do not park with consideration of others...Btw, if you are driving here, please be aware that only permitted vehicles are allowed to drive within old town limits. As hotel guests, we were told we had permission to drive in town and are exempt from any police fines (just needed to give the hotel a copy of our rental car contract). The rooftop pool was the perfect reprieve from the heat with stunning mountain views. Breakfast buffet was ok."

"My friend and I had a five-night stay here and were absolutely blown away. We originally booked a standard room but were later upgraded to a suite, which was absolutely perfect. That being said, I’m sure we would have had an equally fantastic stay in our originally booked room. We spent most of our days by the pool, and every day was so pleasant. The staff were absolutely fantastic, particularly Carmen, who we became very friendly with during our stay. She was so lovely and helpful, and gave us some great recommendations for local food spots. Our room was beautiful and cleaned immaculately every day. We also had lunch by the pool on two occasions and were really impressed with the food. We are genuinely so sad to be home and would absolutely love to return in the future. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!"

"Overall, the hotel is very good and ideally located right next to the beach. However, our room was on the first floor, directly above the restaurant, and we could hear music from downstairs starting as early as 7:00 a.m., which was a little disturbing, especially in the morning."

"We had 2 nights at the hotel . The air conditioning did not work on the first night which made the room unbearable. However the staff Especially a gentleman called Nonu went the extra mile with us. He ensured that any enquiry or request was dealt with professionally and therefore made the stay run smoothly and friendly"

"The hotel was gorgeous. I have never been to a hotel so clean. The staff work constantly to keep up the very high standards. The pool area (2 pools) were lovely to cool off as was very hot. Gorgeous views from the pool looking onto the lake. Easy to get around - bus 324 arrives every 10 minutes (just around the corner) and takes you to Port D’Alcudia and Old Town. Food around the hotel was not great, however the Indian restaurant (Delhi Haveli) near the hotel was really tasty. You should also go for Tapas at Merlet at Old Town, a family run restaurant- their Tapas were Amazing the best we had. The room was lovely but there is one door for both the shower and the toilet so could only use one at a time and was not that private - we managed though and hubby just went onto the balcony when I needed to use the toilet, however this may be an issue for some. My hubby used the hotel gym and he says it was really good. At checkout you could put your suitcases into a locked room and we were given a card to use the showers in the gym at no cost. We would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Great Hotel with a bouquet approach but when we visited it had large family group with various ages of children. No issues with this per say but the pool and dining room were not big enough to accommodate. We had a couple of minor issues with the room but these were resolved immediately. Staff very pleasant and attentive."

"Great value for money, staff is lovely and helpful, particularly Jose at the restaurant is amazing always make our family smile. Food is great, a bit too much of fried but good, great fresh fruits variety, kids ate churros every day, pool is really nice. Only thing that could improve in entertainment during the day."
