We fished for trout, visited the hot springs a short drive away outside Buena Vista, and relaxed. The only mishap was that the coffee maker stopped working on the second day, but the owner responded immediately to the issue and it was resolved with a new replacement. Appliances were nice as well. The house also has plenty of blankets and other needed bedding and linens and tools. The home was in a very serene and beautiful area with a lovely patio to enjoy the outdoors. The fence was perfect for our dogs. The downstairs bathroom has a non-privacy louver door with a window sheer drape-type material covering the slats in the door, but it can be seen and heard through. The queen spring mattress on the main level was not comfortable for me. The river was a few minutes walk down the road. It was sp spacious and well equipped. Lots of light, well insulated and plenty of seating. We appreciated the very secure fencing around the property’s backyard as our beloved golden enjoyed keeping watch over the surrounding fields. There are great backroads for walking with no traffic and a nearby stream for wading. We hope to have a return trip. ##### Judith P. The cabin is comfortable and homey. The kitchen has everything you need, just bring the food. Our two dogs enjoyed the fenced yard and the patio was very nice. If you enjoy bird watching, you will love Blue Cabin as well. From booking to check in to check out, everything went smoothly.
