We had a great stay. The kids loved the theatre room. The adults loved the hot tub and the fire pit, both with views of the snow capped mountains. We had a great stay!
We LOVED being right on the Arkansas River. The deck was fantastic and everyone enjoyed the firepit and hot tub. The house was wonderful, lots of space and the theater room was enjoyed by some. Very clean. Highly recommend!
We had a friend reunion for the weekend and can’t say enough great things about this property! Great location right on the river! Beautiful home with lovely bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen that’s fully loaded with tons of cooking equipment. 10/10 would recommend this property!
There is no better place to stay in the Buena Vista area! The online listing doesn’t do the home justice. From the great views to the awesome floor plan, we were blown away from the moment we walked inside. The host was very helpful and the check in process couldn’t have been simpler. We’re definitely planning our next stay at this property.
The photos don't do this amazing house justice! We were extremely satisfied with our stay! Kristen left our Mom who turned 98 Happy Birthday Flowers and more....the kids enjoyed their own room downstairs and we all enjoyed the river and the firepit on the river. Plenty of room to get around and cook together in the kitchen. Watched Sunday football in the movie room! Can't wait to go back in the summer! Great views with no one behind you! Great trails to run our dog - a Must Stay VRBO!
This was once of the nicest houses my family has stayed at, mostly due to the thoughtful and luxury touches. The house is well stocked and has many items for children I normally bring (night light and kid stool). The kids loved their room with plenty of games included, as well as the deck swing, playground set, hammock and sticks for roasting smores.
We brought our own telescope, but there was one at the house. The stargazing was great when it wasn’t cloudy. The house is updated, spacious, with pleasant river sounds in a gorgeous backyard.
Communication from the host was excellent.
Due to the location, we did experience loud music coming from River Runners across the street for two of the nights until 10pm. There were also fewer trail options - all required a drive and the highly rated waterfall trail was also used by horses, with lots of horse manure to dodge.
Overall it was a relaxing and lovely house and we’d be happy to return.
This was an absolute beautiful home and property! My family and i had a wonderful, relaxing stay, we loved everything about it! The host was wonderful as well and the check in/out process was very easy. We hope to visit again!
This is a beautiful home on a great stretch of the Arkansas River. The house is equipped with everything needed for a family stay. Highly recommended and our family hopes to return next summer.
We had a fabulous family get together! The house was beautiful, clean and exactly as described! Kristan was fantastic and communication was A. We had a question upon arrival and she responded right away. Since it was winter, we took advantage of the hot tub and movie room and are already thinking about when we can come stay here in the summer and enjoy the river!
We loved our stay! If we could have, we never would have left. Kristan was very responsive and easy to work with. We wouldn’t think twice about staying here again.
Amazing home on the Arkansas river. Huge patio/porches, playground with sand for kids, fire pit, movie theatre, kids play room, etc. Had everything that our families wanted, so we cancelled our plans for the weekend and stayed on the property the entire time. Would recommend to anyone and especially if you have kids.
Great location on the river. Everyone enjoyed that including the dogs! Home is very nice and sets up well for adults and kids. The only thing that we had any issue with was the garbage can outside was full and there was not much room for us to empty the trash from the house.
Such a beautiful house on some amazing property. The house was very well kept and had everything we needed! Would definitely recommend and will for certain come back.
Casa del Rio is perfection! Beautifully decorated, all the amenities (including kitchen supplies!) that you might need, and the indoor and outdoor spaces are comfortable and spacious.
We loved our stay here for a girls weekend. We really enjoyed the hot tub, theater and all the space to hang out together. The weather was nice for October, so we were able to enjoy the outdoor space as well! Our only complaint was that despite turning off all outside lights by 10 pm as instructed by the host, we all received paper notes on our cars telling us to turn lights off. We can only assume it was a neighbor, which as a group of women traveling alone, made us feel pretty uncomfortable knowing someone was watching us and had the audacity to approach our parked vehicles. As a result, we did not feel comfortable using the outdoor amenities like the hot tub and fire pit on the second night of our stay. Our stay was otherwise pleasant and quiet.
Our group of 8 (4 couples) had plenty of space and greatly enjoyed our time at Case del Rio. Sitting in the hot tub and hearing/seeing the river nearby was relaxing. Clean, modern space.
