Great hotel, I had a lovely stay here. Very clean and modern. Staff were great. Only bad thing was that the walls are very thin, we could hear people talk on outside the hotel and could hear people in the adjourning rooms. But overall, great hotel!

The hotel is very nice, and the service was incredible, the two ladies and the young man at the front desk were so nice and welcoming. The rooms are clean and nice. The hotel has a good location, there is plants of restaurants in the area.

All staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and spacy. I particularly like the speed of the internet connection. Public transportation is so readily available within walking distance to go to places.

First things first, the location is unbeatable. As a young traveller, it’s only a short walk from bars & nightlife which was perfect for what we wanted on this trip. However, the app keycard feature of this hotel was anxiety inducing before we even arrived Hungary. To check-in you need to download an app (I would suggest doing before you arrive) and use your confirmation details - for us this didn’t work and we had to contact the hotel for them to check us in. Next, our flight was delayed meaning that we arrived at 3am so no staff available on-site to assist. We let ourselves into the building and went to our allocated room - but we were unable to turn on any lights and there was no electricity in the room. We called the emergency number and ended up being upgraded - which worked out well but obviously an added stress and not what you want at 3am. The breakfast included was good - I am dairy free and rice milk was available which I was very thankful for in my morning coffee. Air-conditioning, windows and blinds are all controlled by a panel - which took some getting used to but managed to figure out. Overall very good - but don’t think I would stay again due to the stress with electronic key card system.

I was given a dirty blanket with a sticky residue and requested a new blanket using the desk phone and my personal phone. I was told since there was no staff on site that I would not be able to have a clean blanket until the next day. I had to sleep in a room with no blanket and I was hung up on the first time and when I called back I was given a supervisor’s number to see if the situation could be handled, but they did not answer the phone.

A shambolic e-management @ Budapest wonder hotel
A Very mitigated experience... A wonderful staff, an immaculate hotel, a superb comfi bed, in a modernly set up bedroom with beautiful shower etc... A hotel that certainly does pride to Budapest and its people... A superb hotel. But... Yes but... A glitch, yes, there is a but. The hotel is more like an e-hotel, like e for e-cigarettes... Too much reliance on its e- technology ans smart applications. And these failed me for 2 nights in a row. 1st night got all electricity gone off in my room at around 10.30 pm. And no one at the reception or no reception at all, to go and ask for help. Had to make a call to the virtual night manager on duty. Got hold of her. She guided me via the phone into setting up a new room key card through their equipment at the reception. It worked. I got a new room. The next day. I could not open my room again having returned from diner in town at around 11.00pm. I called the same emergency contact for hours but did not get any response. By 4.00 am, I had to sleep on a sofa in the reception /lobby without my medications, my insuline or a blanket to cover myself. I had to wait for the morning staff. At 8.00 am a receptionist turned up. She was shocked and sorry to what happened to us. I wasn't the only one who had to sleep in the lobby... She helped me get into my room. I was tired, traumatised and angry... All I needed then, was to rest and recuperate. I went to bed... and the story goes on...

KViHotel Budapest Perfect for city break
Stayed at KVihotel Budapest for 3 nights. Our other hotel fell through so just booked it on the way. Location was perfect so central. Hotel was spotless and so modern. Everything was done through an app on our phones. Once we checked out we had the use of free lockers to store our luggage which was great.

Trendy Hotel in the perfect location
Facility was amazing. Used the phone app, and had registered before we went, it was great, never let us down (which I'll admit was a concern before arriving). Really nice hotel, big comfy bed, great shower, downstairs recption area is small, but perfectly comfy if your waiting for a cab. In the perfect location too. 10 minute walk to the river, located in the 'party' district, but just far enough away you cant hear a thing at night.

The concept of a Smart hotel is an amazing idea, controlling everything from your smart phone was something I was looking forward to. before visiting this hotel, I did few search and read few negatives feedback regarding controlling of room temperature and difficulty using your smart phone as a key, however, I decided to go for it. My experience of the hotel was one of the best yet. I stayed in room 201, the air conditioning worked absolutely brilliant no issue at all, although the minimum temperature you could adjust using your phone is 20°C However, you have the option of asking the bar attendant/ customers service representative to adjust as you wish. Location was good, lots of bars and restaurants around, 10mins walk to city Centre and night clubs. Breakfast could be better, am sure the brand will be looking into it base on your feedbacks, it’s very difficult to please everyone mostly those people out there with big appetite. The bar attendant was friendly and helpful. Check out time is 11am, However, you have the option of extending until 1pm for just 10 euro, which I did, my flight was 9pm I had the free storage option on site, which was great, I was able to wonder around without having the hassle of carry my luggage. Overall, it was a good experience.

Overall a very comfortable stay
A very comfortable Hotel and great location. The hotel application was easy to use. The delux room on the 5th floor was spacious, clean ( daily housekeeping) and the staff on site where very helpful. Overall experience 7/10. The negative issues were the breakfast which I give 2/10 (Variety was very poor) but the staff were helpful nevertheless and the smart tv ( hardly any English speaking channels and the smart tv did not work hence was unable to connect my smart phone to the TV). This hotel is not a family hotel. (Iron only provided on request)

Smart hotel, but a disappointment
Great idea, but lot of problems. Hotel itself is nice and modern - Smart concept is excellent for check-in and getting in/out of rooms. Great location in middle of Jewish Quarter and well kept. Staff, when on bar, were friendly and place to keep your bags if you check out early. However, hotel has a lot of problems not being addressed. As seen on a lot of reviews, the A/C is uncontrollable in room - it was far too hot -i'm not normally one to have a problem with heat, but the room was stifling. If it's programmed centrally, hotel staff are not doing their job. Genuinely struggled to sleep in April, would be carnage in Summer. Noise - again number of reviews have commented - the windows do not adequately block out the noise of the street. You are above two bars, and on a street people cut through. if you're on the street-side of the hotel, suggest you stay out until the early hours otherwise you're not sleeping much. We got in at around 1/1:30am and it was still pretty lively. 'smart' element of hotel is restricted to electronic key, room service and check-in/out. It was not the all-encompassing tech journey described on the site. We we're unable to pick a room upon check-in or control anything in the actual room. Truthfully, it's more like an 'Express' hotel you'd find in the UK.

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing a detailed review on your stay. We are very glad that you found our staff friendly and enjoyed the design of the hotel. On one hand we have an amazing central location indeed close to several bars and restaurants, but on the other hand it is true that the area could be noisy at times for the very same reason. However, we offer our guests earplugs at the LobbyBar if requested, so I am very sorry that we were only informed of your complaint after your stay. Regarding the A/C unfortunatelly due to the original design of the building we could either only turn it to cooling or heating in the whole property meaning that the guest can set the exact temperature on a scale of cooling or heating via TMRW Hotels app, but eg. can not switch to cooling in the winter period, only turn it off. We were planning on setting it to cooling for 2 weeks this spring, but the weather changed to quite cold for the nights and we decided not to do it yet until yesterday. After all, thank you for pointing this issue related to the A/C, we will conduct further investigation if there is any possibility of reconstructing the system and of course we are very sorry that the temperature of the room left you disappointed. Your feedback is highly valuable to us, we are sure to direct your assessment to the correct departments and we'll do our best to provide with even higher level of services in the future. My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights and the location is great for nightlife, ruin pubs and most attractions. I would class it as a 3-4 star and as I believe it is fairly new some improvements could be made. The room was partially cleaned daily but tea cups we used on day 1 were there when we checked out 5 days later. Some comp items in minibar was a nice touch but replacing tea and offering coffee would add to the experience. The temperature was supposed to be controllable by the app but it didn’t work we opened the window to cool it not sure how this would be in the summer though. Breakfast was good but items particularly the hot choices were rarely replenished. Overall a good stay but these improvements would increase the score
