We stayed 2 nights at the Marriot and absolutely LOVED it. Looking out onto the Danube alone was worth it but the room was clean, quiet and exactly what we needed. Service was impeccable and we will definitely stay here again. They were even able to get us an affordable car service to the airport so we didn’t have to take public transportation.

Had lovely trip hotel beautiful location lovely views, very clean, staff very nice, breakfast very good buffet, rooftop Bar great. Only thing missing is a pool would be amazing with infinite to pool over looking the across the river to parliament builder. 👌😁

Excellent location - walking distance to Christmas markets. View from our front room was beautiful. Staff were really helpful - provided us with a cot and also a complimentary birthday treat for one of our group. Lobby was great - good selection of drinks and food. Loved the sky lounge, incredible views and staff were once again really great. Really enjoyed our stay - couldn’t recommend enough.

Great location, one of the few waterfront hotel on the Danube River on Pest side with spectacular un-obstructed view of the river or both the river and the Buda castle high up across the river, depend on the price of the room. Roof top bar lacks any character, it has the same view as the windows in our upgraded room (we paid for and worth it). However, do not expect spectacular sunsets anywhere in Pest. Plenty spaces next to the bathroom sink for personal items. Strong shower, but 1/2 shower door makes the water go everywhere on the floors outside the tub. 10-15 min walking distance to most attractions and Metro entrance. Short walk to plenty of restaurants and shops existing from either the front or back of the hotel. Starbucks on site. Little convenient store 50 steps away for small treats not necessary from room service. Hotel staffs were not friendly, everyone stands around never acknowledge anyone or gives a basic nod of hello or good morning. However, our requests were met in a timely matter, so, perhaps it’s just the culture.

My daughter and I came to celebrate her birthday, the room we were in was so nice, clean, spacious, on a high floor, with perfect view, breakfast was delicious, and the most pleasant thing was that we got a late check out, which was wonderful for us. Definitely good value for money!!

Stay at the Marriot for my husbands birthday. The staff couldn’t have been any more helpful and accommodating. The room was fabulous with beautiful views overlooking the Danube and Buda Castle. Breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were so friendly. Would definitely stay here again on another trip to Budapest!
