An Excellent home
Great location. Spacious. Comfortable double and sofa beds. Small basic kitchen. Most importantly at the heat wave - a great modern air conditioner. Tom vey helpful. Downsides? A minor - Window shadowing not good enough for those who want to sleep late.

Budapest Beauty
It was such a pleasure staying at this apartment in Budapest. The location was ideal, lots to do and see within walking distance and a train station close by. Many restaurants and bakeries in the area. The apartment was beautiful and very comfortable for the two of us with everything we needed for a weeks stay. Tom, our host, was wonderful, arranging transport to and from the airport and giving us recommendations on activities that would be of interest to us. We had a great time in Budapest and enjoyed the accommodation.

Amazing apartment with amazing owner!
We had amazing time in this apartment! Very nice for a couple. Tom, the host/owner of this beautiful apartment is the best you can wish for! He arrange our pick up from airport, met us at the apartment, explain us everything about apartment and area around the apartment . He sent us a lot of info about Budapest, where to go, what to see, where the best restaurants. The location of the apartment is the best, center of the Budapest, waking distance to a lot of attractions you want to visit!!! Just best of the best! Wonderful stay in a beautiful city
Our beautifully renovated apartment, located in a 100+ year-old building, was centrally located just off the main walking/shopping street, and a 5-minute walk to the Danube River! Our host met us upon arrival, and spent a good half hour walking us through the beautifully decorated apartment, orienting us to the major sights of the city, and provided recommendations for several nearby restaurants - each of which were superb! We will definitely book this wonderful apartment on our next trip to Budapest. Thank you, Tom!

A fabulous few days in Budapest

Excellent all around.
We spent a week in this beautiful apartment. Tomas arranged our transfer from the airport when we arrived and was there to meet us and show us everything in the apartment as well as what the neighborhood had to offer. The location is perfect. We walked everywhere and there are numerous restaurants, grocery stores, cafes and bars just outside the door. Budapest is a beautiful city and we are taking home many wonderful memories. One word of advise , take your time in Budapest even after a week there was still so much we could have seen and do not hesitate to rent this apartment. Fantastic location, lodging and host!
My husband and I spent eight nights in this lovely apartment and we LOVED Budapest! The spaciousness, high ceilings and quirky elevator all added their charms to this very clean and well appointed apartment. The king size bed was very comfortable and the little balcony was great to have too. The location is just a few steps away from the Danube, 5 minutes walk to Liberty Bridge or the Great Market, with tons of restaurants and grocery shops right in the neighborhood. We bought a one-week transit pass which allowed us to zip all over the city; it's so easy to navigate! Enjoyed lots of great food, but in particular breakfast or lunch at Double Shot just a couple blocks away, and dinner at Why Not down on Belgrade St. on the Danube were really good. Tomas, thanks for your personalized map and wonderful suggestions, for arranging our transport to the station when we left, and for a seamless experience from start to finish! Would happenly stay again in this lovely apartment!

Tomas is a great guy, with a winning property. The apartment is spacious and well appointed. The location is a visitors dream. It is right in the middle of all the action, but on a quiet street. All public transportation is within two short blocks walking. You can't go wrong with this apartment.

A week in Budapest
My husband , teenage daughter and I have just spent the most delightful, cultured and fascinating week exploring Budapest. Central to the success of our perfect holiday was of course Tom with his gentle, non invasive approach to supporting and guiding our stay all the way from the organisation of top quality door to door transport to and from the airport, providing top tips for good cafes and restaurant and 'off the beaten track' as well as more popular places to visit. Tom's place is right up our street! It is authentic, quaint as well as providing great facilities; above all, it is very very spacious and airy with air con! The very high ceilings and ample floor room provided more than enough space for our teenager to spread her belongings freely despite an abundance of draws and wardrobes available! All beds are very comfortable and of a decent size and, despite it’s city centre location in a 200 year old apartment block, we had 7 nights of good quality uninterrupted sleep! We had 7 days of breakfast, lunch and dinner slots to fill and despite more than adequate apartment cooking facilities, some of our favourite pitstops were: evening pre dinner drinks at the bar directly opposite the entrance to Tom’s place (well priced and has a lovely local feel), Dobrumba, Mazel Tov, Dionysos and Borze to name but a few all suited our palate and easily accessible on foot or by well connected transport. Thank you Tom for a great holiday!

We highly recommend this apartment. It is located within walking distance to everything and within a 5 minute walk to the Danube River. The apartment is clean and charming. Tom is a gracious and accommodating host and was waiting for us at the apartment when we arrived and provided us with good information on sites to see, a map, and answered all questions. We knew he was just an email away. That being said, Budapest is an easy city to explore. Thank you Tom for being so helpful and accommodating. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Can’t say enough good things about the host and the location of this flat. Tomas is amazing. Very helpful and attentive. We really appreciated the airport pickup! We walked everywhere from the apartment. Easy access to all the must-sees. The bed was very comfortable, and we loved the floor-to-ceiling glass doors/windows. It was very quiet too! We spent one week at this wonderful apartment. Although the building is in need of some tender loving care, the apartment is perfect and the location outstanding! One block from pedestrian only Vaci utca and an easy walk to metro stations which will get you everywhere. Great neighborhood bars and restaurants, including Fat Mo’s, a jazz/blues club. Great Market is an easy walk. Grocery store directly across the street from apartment. Easy walk to metro 1/yellow at Vörösmarty and to metro 3/blue at Ferenciek tere. Wonderful BudaPEST Experience in Great Apartment
Tom's apartment, amendments, and location were ALL as listed. The pictures and description tell it all, but one of the best parts is TOM! He was communicative from the beginning, waiting for us upon arrival, explained everything we needed to know, readily available via text or phone, and offered great advice (including a supply of travel books, brochures, etc.) for our time there. A few extras we loved: QUIET, balcony, attractively/comfortably furnished, lift (after a few stairs from building entrance) small/adequate grocery store across the street, washing machine/drying rack, well-supplied kitchen, satellite tv, close to bridges for easy walk to Buda side. If you are planning a trip to Buda and want to stay on the Pest side, look no farther - you won't be disappointed!!

Tomas was a wonderful host! The apartment is very clean and up to date, decorated beautifully and it's in a really great location! Very close to public transportation as well as close proximity to the Danube River, nice restaurants, a lively night scene, the Great Market Hall and City Center. The Liberty Bridge, the Elizabeth Bridge and the Chain Bridge are all within walking distance to get over to the Buda side of the River where there are wonderful places to explore, like The Fisherman's Bastion, the Citadel, St. Mathias and the National museum to name a few. The apartment is situated in a fairly quiet area in a 180 + year old building, so there is lots of charm and the space is on the 2nd floor with a nice little balcony to have your coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. We WILL be back! Budapest is a beautiful, wonderful, exciting city that is a place to return to again and again!!

Palatial apartment in great location
We loved our stay at the apartment. It is in a grand old building on a very quiet street only steps from all the sights of Budapest. Supermarket on the corner was very handy and only a few minutes walk to the great old food market. Very safe area. Our host was very easy to deal with and offered lots of information. We highly recommend this property.

Perfect apartment, perfect location!
First I must start off by saying Tom is one of the most organized and honest men I have ever met. Everything went exactly as scheduled and planned. He arranged a pick up at the airport for us, 30 euros. If I have one suggestion, (pre arrange this with Tom) wait until you get to the apartment to pay the driver. There is an ATM one block from the apartment and it charges minimum withdrawal fees. I used a service at the airport to get the transportation fee and some extra money and I was charged $75 USD! Avoid using the airport money exchange. Upon arrival, Tom explained all the needed information about the apartment (locking the door, air conditioning, appliances, etc...). The interior is beautiful and very sound proofed. Across the street is a small market, where you will find any essential you need. There's a corner bar across the street from that. One block away, all kinds of shops and eateries. Tom will give an overall layout of the area and things to do. His restaurant suggestions are spot on. We visited 3 of the many he recommended and they lived up to his hype. Go to the For Sale Pub for goulash soup. It's unbelievable. He arranged a pick up for us to get back to the airport. It was the same driver and showed up before the scheduled pick up time. Tom will make it a worry free vacation. The apartment is located centrally to almost everything. The longest we walked to anywhere was 35 minutes away. We always walk on our European vacations so we can feel a part of the local area. Most everything we did was within a 15 minute walk. According to my pedometer, we walked 14 miles one day...strictly because we wanted too, but there is no need to as public transportation seems readily available. When, not if, we visit Budapest again, we will book this apartment. Thank you Tom for everything!

This is very central, close to many restaurants and bars. The apartment had high ceilings and plenty of living space. Tom is very helpful and friendly and we had everything we needed (except maybe a clothes dryer). Would recommend for sure.

Beautiful, cosy apartment with balcony
As soon as we made enquiries to book one of Tomas' apartments he was swift, helpful and friendly right up until we left. He kindly arranged taxi to and from the apartment and he was there to great us when we arrived and recommended restaurants etc as well as to show us around the apartment. This is one of the best apartments we have stayed in; centrally located in the Pest side of Budapest it was beautifully decorated and had a 'homely' feel which allowed us to kick off our shoes and relax after a long day exploring this picturesque and interesting city. We can't recommend this apartment enough in fact we will be passing his details onto friends and family.

Amazing Location! Wonderful Apartment
This apartment has it all. It is located within minutes of everything. We walked everywhere! Beautiful city. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to come to Budapest. Great little cocktail lounge minutes from the apartment called Good Spirits; very cheap beers a stones throw from the apartment called Red Ruin. Unique, local clothing around the corner at Wonder Lab which I recommend. 2 corner stories with groceries outside of your front door. And lastly, go to Rudas Bath. It was a very cool experience. Wonderful location, I can't say enough! Don't look any further, book this place!

Tom was very helpful with his recommendations and on time to meet with us. He carried our bags to the third floor. Elevator of building was operational evenings, nights and early mornings. Perfection!
Everything about this apartment was perfect, we could not have wanted any more. The location was in the heart of the city but was still peaceful and quiet. There were plenty of restaurants, cafes and little shops nearby and it was very close to the Metro Station for getting around easily . We loved the style and decor of the apartment and the little balcony where we could just watch the world go by. There was enough room for a couple of small chairs so suited us perfectly. The bed was really comfortable after a day of exploring and the air on worked well considering how hot it was outside. We loved the high ceilings and original features of the building, and we also loved the rickety old lift! Tomas was an excellent host who spent time to give us tips on how to enjoy the best of Budapest. We took his recommendations of restaurants and realised very quickly how right he was about places. He told us where to get the best Hungarian ghoulash( For Sale Pub)where to get a good breakfast(Bonnie Resto) amongst many other suggestions. We used his map as he indicated where certain places we were interested in were. We will certainly be recommending this apartment to our friends for a wonderful stay in Budapest. Thank-youTomas!

Beautiful centrally located apartment
We stayed in this beautiful apartment for 4 nights. It is very comfortable, kitchen very well equipped, comfortable bed, 2 bathrooms and showers, a clothes washing machine which incorporates a dryer, also a drying rack, iron and ironing board. Nice small balcony with 4 chairs and table. Centrally located just 1/2 block off Vaci Utca. Metro station very close and tram car within walking distance, both very easy to use. We arranged with owner, Tomas to have someone meet us at train station and to drive us back, very convenient. Extremely fast internet and also has Comcast, which allowed us to watch our Netlix on the tv. The apartment is located on the 4th floor, and unfortunately no elevator as this is a historic building. A little noisy at night with the tourists on Vaci Utca, so most nights not able to open the bedroom window till later in the night. We were met on arrival and departure. Would highly recommend.

A Home away from Home in the Heart of Budapest
My wife & I spent a most enjoyable time in Tom's well furnished, decorated and very well situated apartment just minutes away from the most central highlights of Budapest. In a charming, quiet location just off of the main promenade yet mere minutes to the metro, we were able to either walk or take the very convenient public transit everywhere that we wished to tour. Tom was a most gracious host who went out of his way to help us and see to our comfort. We could not be more happy to recommend his accommodations the next time that you are searching for that special downtown location in Budapest.

Loved the apartment
I truly enjoyed our experience at Tom's apartment. One of the most important things for us was that it is so wonderfully located to everything that you would want to do. The apartment is safe, clean, comfortable,. I am a reader and so I often do not have good reading lights in the bed. The lighting is perfect for reading in bed. It has everything that you could possibly need for a stay in Budapest. Tom also made recommendations as to where to eat that were totally fantastic. He also provided us with a map with all the places that we might want to see and there were guide books in the room as well. The room is attractively decorated and everything is new and in good order. He greeted us with a bottle of wine which was a nice touch. He also arranged for all of our pick ups from the train station and to the airport. All of the drivers came on time and it really made the transition easy. Lastly the apartment feels totally safe and is in a neighborhood where you could feel comfortable walking around at night. You cannot lose by staying at this apartment .
