"The property was nice and we had a great view. However the cleanliness was not up to par for what I would consider. The mini fridge did not work and their was a foul smell coming from the washroom. It wasnt bad overall and I would stay again but I would consider other options first. They did comp my parking for the discrepancies."

"Our third time here over the last couple years. It is our “go to” place in Westport after trying a couple places. We arrive by small boat (18 ’) and can dock there for free when a room is booked. Great location for walking around town. They serve a continental breakfast but we always go find a local place for a hot brekky. They have a good supper and drinks menu, lots of live entertainment, but you can always walk to a local restaurant in town as well. It’s a very nice community and very safe to walk all around, day or night."

"This is a difficult review to write, and I needed to wait a while after my stay to make sure it was fair to the owners. Let me say, that for a cozy cabin get-away, without having to get away, a weekend to unplug from your devices and enjoy the wildlife and nature and a short trip to Westport than this is your listing. Unfortunately, the pictures of the property are, in my opinion, rather dishonest. The first few pictures are not even of the cabin we stayed in. Other pictures do not accurately depict how small the space actually is, and even has pictures of what I assume is the property owners house. If you quickly browse the listing like I did, you will be dissapointed. But if you read through the lengthy description of the property details it is not like they tried to hide anything, but I need to dock points on accuracy of the listing for the pictures, making the space appear larger.During our stay our internet was spotty, you could use it to view E-mails but videos would be a challange. Property owners were VERY NICE. 2 cats and a dog on the property were also very friendly."

"We spent an entire week of fishing here at this property. All 4 guys had a great time. The large boat dock easily accommodated two bass boats. Host was very kind and accomodating to our needs. Property was clean. The boat access, only 100 yards away, made it very convenient. I would definately recommend this property."

"It had everything we required for a pleasurable solar powered rustic cottage labour day weekend with the added bonus of a one hour fireworks show across the lake.Thoroughly enjoyed the patio dock and firepit.The cottage interior was comfortable and well designed. Loved the high ceilings with one of the bedrooms containing a skylight. What's not to like."
