Very cosy room in a small and friendly hotel. Excellent place for excursions to a.o. Hamburg, but with the possibility to make a 30 minute train journey in the evening for a quiet and cosy stay. Don’t miss the restaurant close buy with an excellent Afghani kitchen.

This has been a "Go to" property for us. It is great value for the money. It is getting a bit "Tired". The staff is always great. Restaurant and shopping are near by. You can easily walk to the train station and ride into Hamburg on the Metronom train.

Clean. Nice breakfast. Only had 3 beds for us 4. Unfortunately they couldn’t provide an extra bed but made up for it by offering free breakfast.

Sorry , but it was really dirty. I understand it was “cheaper” but could have been cleaner despite the desperate needs for renovation

Mediocre breakfast. Okay, albeit old, rooms. Old tech (restricted TV, no smart tv functions, no chromecast etc for non-german speaking guests).

Disappointing

I stayed 2 nights and all was fine. Until checkout ..... I was asked to pay, even though my room was pre-paid. They insisted. So, I had to find a receipt to prove it was paid. Also, I had asked at check-in if breakfast was included with my room (I could not remember) & was told yes. However, at check-out I was told no and was charged. I was not happy, as the breakfast was expensive & very poor. Many things had run out, including the bread, the cheese, the fruit salad and fruit yogurt. This experience at the end spoilt my stay.

Freundlicher Empfang.

Sonst alles gut. Spa sehr sauber.
