A bit dated but right next to metro
Onyx Lounge is good for its proximity to the metro but it could do with a refresh. I was originally given the wrong room and the room looked a little dated, and some of the sockets looked like they'd been forced into the wall as well as the shower room door looking like its repair had been botched. It was day two when they realised I had the wrong room and they just moved me to the new room and told me I'd been moved when I got in that day. No harm done, I suppose. I understand they had to clean it but it was a shock. The new room had a better shower room door but the sockets also looked poorly installed. Neither TV worked. There was no remote in the first room and no reception in second. The beds were comfy enough and the shower warm and spacious. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and most spoke good English. As I said, the big plus about the hotel was the proximity to the metro. You literally alk out the door and turn a corner. The Atomium is just up the road and some ice parks a short walk away. There's not a lot of shopping in the area though. It's cheaper than much of Brussels so good if you just want to rest your head.

The staff did not speak English, the rooms smelled horrible due to the bathroom and we could not sleep as the toilet water was running for hours. The elevator was old, small and did not have a door. The location is good if you want to walk to Atomium and Mini Europe and be next to metro station and bus station. I would not stay at this location again.

The staff were rude and unpleasant. My room had a balcony over the rear covered in bird poo. The room/building looks half finished.

I attended a concert at a Stadium down the street - this was a easy walk. The employees seemed to want to help in any way they could.

Room or sauna?
Room had no ventilation. No fan or anything. Opened window after moving curtains meant to keep window shut and had pigeons come in room. Room was uncomfortably hot.

Average stay with fee flows.
I needed pay twice for City Tax even though on hotel.com says alt tax included. Didn't get recipt for extra tax payment too. I booked twin bed room but got single bed one. I'm big person, so few times I fall over bed. Mattress where very soft too.

Small hotel but super close to the Atomium and Mini Europe. Staff was great help and very accommodating. Room was a bit small but clean.

It was okay. Close to the metro station which is good for getting to the Central Brussels. 5 minutes walk from the atomium which is great. They charged me for ridiculous stuff.

Une nuit du 17 au 18/01, petite chambre bien agencée, literie très confortable, chambre bien chauffée. Malheureusement l'hôtel étant situé à l'angle d'une artère, on entend le bruit incessant du tram et du flot de voitures.

Chère cliente, Merci pour votre commentaire, vous aviez une réservation pour deux personnes, et vous vouliez mettre plus de personnes dans la chambre, et c'est interdit de mettre plus de personnes dans une chambre pour seulement deux personnes pas plus, vous ne voulez pas respecter les conditions alors c'est votre problème et merci encore.

Hotel was an okay stay. Positives: Very close to Atomium and Mini-Europe (right next to the metro station). Decent neighborhood. Negatives: TV remote was not there. One lamp was not working in the bathroom. Overall condition seemed a bit outdated.

Il n'y avait pas de rideau sur une partie de la fenêtre. Nous en avons réclamé. La chaleur tapait sur les vitres et elle était insupportable. Ils ont fini par nous mettre des rideaux. Nous sommes restés quatre nuits. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre, mais ils ont refusé en disant que l'hôtel était complet. Bizarrement, nous avons rencontré que très peu de personnes pendant le séjour. Les rideaux n'étaient pas opaques et laissaient passer la lumière. Première nuit, réveil à 5h30, puis après entre 6h et 7h. Ma pire expérience de ces dernières années. Nous avons eu par la suite de meilleurs hôtels où nous avons pu nous reposer. L'hôtel n'a pas mauvais mine, mais franchement, aucun service et en plus, ils ont essayé de nous culpabiliser. Insupportable et à éviter!

Privilégiez le bivouac
Pas vraiment au niveau : cuvette des toilettes qui se ballade, porte de douche qui ferme mal (salle de bain inondée après chaque douche), bruyant, aucune déco, tringle à rideau qui reste dans les mains, bouton de douche qui reste dans les mains, attente de plusieurs minutes le soir avant que le gardien ouvre la porte, quartier pas terrible.. bref privilégiez le bivouac

En apparence, la chambre avait l’air des plus sympathiques. En réalité, le lit s’affaissait, les oreillers étaient plein de bouloches, la porte de la douche était cassée, la chasse d’eau fuyait et j’en passe. Très mauvais nuit passée dans cet établissement, où la propreté laissait à désirer, la télécommande de la télé était grasse et poussiéreuse pour ne citer que ça. Très déçue vu le prix élevé de la nuit (120€).
