Good Business Stay Hotel

Posted 08-Dec-2016 on Hotels
Good priced central hotel within reasonable walking distance of restaurants, shopping area, Grand Square and EU Parliament buildings. Only downside, no coffee/tea making facililities in room ( and no means to get hot water - for Lemsip - out of breakfast hours. ) Be warned, they mean the 2pm check in time for arrival but quite possible to work in the basic but comfortable lobby with hotel wifi if you arrive early

Good location

Ceiling leaked in the bathroom and had to move rooms, but management made it easy. Wifi was free, but not great. Breakfast was free, but mostly awful.

I paid almost 130euro (including city tax) for a room where I had no control over the heating/cooling because this is done at reception. The public areas are very basic and the breakfast is very basic.

close to metro

Posted 16-Aug-2016
not far walk from central station. walk out the front of the hotel for metro stop. in between central and midi station. breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. had 3 rooms during 5 night stay, first room bathroom flooded member of staff not overly bothered just gave us a different room which was next to building site. got a room for remaining nights on 5th floor over looking internal court yard. bright and big room. rooms were basic but clean. not air con that we could find only opening windows. good value hotel and nice location

Would stay again as location good

Room was very small but I knew that when booking. Wifi did not work in room and pillows very lumpy. Breakfast buffet very good in nice room.

Average but noisy

Posted 25-Apr-2016 on Hotels
Average quality hotel - a little dated in décor. Slightly expensive compared to quality. At the moment it's not a good place for peace and quiet as building work to the rear of the hotel starts at 7:00 am and is incredibly loud and intrusive - you couldn't stay in the bedroom to relax or watch TV, let alone have a lazy start to the day. Check before you book if likely to be affected by the noise.

Great for a work trip

Posted 01-Feb-2016
Location: Great access to business district and very easy to get to on the Metro from the Eurostar.
Good value room in clean, friendly hotel. Only downside was the major building works which were close by (and noisy from the rooms even with the window closed), but that's not the hotel's fault.
