Receptionist Chiarra was certainly busy as she covered most/all day to day things on her ownf from 8am to 7.45pm. Always cheerful, helpful and informative. 5 stars to bella Chiarra.

Lovely views but…….,

Fantastic views from hotel room and very convenient for the funicular. On downside the staff were rushed off their feet and my partner dubbed it the “do it yourself” hotel as our room wasn’t cleaned, we had to go to bar to collect coffee and cutlery at breakfast. The bottle of Prosecco we were given when we left would have been a lovely touch if we weren’t flying home with no checked luggage- it would have meant more on arrival!

Waren nur 1 Nacht. Sehr enge Strassen zum Hotel etwas abenteuerlich! Der Ort ist sehr touristisch aber schön. Das Hotel ist ok für 1 Nacht aber länger würde ich nicht dort bleiben.

Storslået udsigt

Fremragende beliggenhed med en fantastisk udsigt. Hotellet er dog vanskeligt tilgængeligt. Vejen derop er smal og masser af hårnålesving med kraftig stigning. Køkkenet var stort set lukket men de ville lave en pizza dog senest kl. 1900. Pænt værelse med en storslået udsigt over Comosøen.

The room was pretty small and the elevator can handle only 2 people, not very convenient. Breakfast was ok. The view from our room was pretty. The people attending the place were nice.

Es war sauber, ruhig und günstig. Die Aussicht aus unserem Zimmer war schön: auf das gegenüber liegende Seeufer. Die Zufahrt zum Ort ist sehr kurvenreich und Parkplätze sind rar und schmal, das Hotelpersonal ist aber sehr hilfsbereit und es fand sich immer eine Lösung.

To get there you have to drive up some seriously steep narrow winding roads, only to find out that there are charges for their parking spot and breakfast which are not worth the cost.

Lovely setting with a gorgeous view of Lake Como.

Charming and lovely, this hotel has a picturesque setting that will make it feel like home. Lovely owners who helped us with a problem and were so accommodating. We loved our stay here. The restaurant was lovely and the food amazing! Both the owner and staff were friendly and so professional, working hard to be of service. Amazing stay at Alberto Vista Lago!

Well located in Brunate

The hotel is well located overlooking Como City and we had a glimpse of Lake Como from our Balcony. I got the feeling that the albergo was just wakening from it’s winter slumber as there were few signs of activity in the restaurant or bar and certainly no locals around. However the hotel and Brunate thanks to the very handy funicular makes an excellent base for discovering the Lake Como area.
