Perfect location

Posted 19-Dec-2017
Pros: Only the location and breakfast.
Cons: The room we stayed in would benefit from a wash basin in the toilet and general refurbishment.
Location: Just round the corner from Groot Markt, Salvor Dali Expo, lots of churches, shopping etc.
We stayed in family room 323 and it was quite run down. The room decor was not at all appealing. After using the toilet you had to walk through 2 bedrooms to wash your hands. The toilet bowl was dirty and filled with lime. The toilet handle/knob was wobbly. I opened a drawer and the whole thing came apart. Bathroom in same run down condition. It was not at all value for money. I will not be back and I will not recommend to anybody. However, the location was perfect for sightseeing and the Christmas market. The restaurants in the hotel complex were ok. The breakfast was good value for money; coffee, tea, milk, juice, water, bread rolls, croissants, cake, eggs, cold cuts, sardines, various cereals etc. for just €5 pp. Breakfast was served in the basement which was quite an interesting vault. Staff were nice and polite.

Hmmm

Rooms dated, double bed was 2 beds pushed together. Holes in the walls, sockets you have to kick plugs into to get them to work. On the plus side it is bang central for the square and shops

Convenient hotel in city's centre

Posted 12-Nov-2017
Pros: Great breakfast served in the most beautiful historic cellar.
Cons: Please post on website that hotel not accessible by car.
It was ok for one night. Hotel is in pedestrian zone, so no way to drive close to unload. Overnight parking in a close-by park house. The area is beautiful and the location is very convenient for exploring downtown.

Location & Price

Posted 22-Oct-2017
Pros: The location and the price.
Cons: Nothing really, it's pleasant and convenient.
Location: You are less than a hundred yards from the main square and the hotel provides maps and guides and, there's always the internet.
This is a very reasonably priced hotel with an excellent, very central location. You get a much better rate by booking direct with the hotel. Using Expedia cost us much more than if we had booked direct.

Very old hotel, needs upgrades!!!

Posted 10-Oct-2017 on Hotels
Literally the only good thing about this hotel is location, other than that it is very old and not maintained at all for all these years. Bathroom was a joke, beds are the most uncomfortable hotel beds I have ever seen. There is a kitchen probably built in back in 80s and looks dirty and very old. it is over priced for these conditions.

Location was great.vood breakfast. Quality of the room was less than some of the others for the price in the area. Noise from in and outside the hotel exceptionally loud in to the small wee hours.in 10yrs of visiting Brugge this was the worst stay.
