The room was small but extremely cozy, clean, and well kept — a great balance between comfort and practicality. The décor felt warm and inviting, and although the space wasn’t large, it was thoughtfully designed. The bed was comfortable, but the only odd thing was that it had two single mattresses instead of one, so there was a slight dip toward the middle. It wasn’t a big problem, though — I still slept very well. The bathroom was modern and spotless, equipped with a good hair dryer and nice water pressure in the shower. The location is about 12–15 minutes’ walk from Brussels’ main tourist attractions, which made it easy to reach the city center while still being in a quiet and safe area. It’s perfect if you prefer staying slightly away from the busiest parts of town. The hotel is across from the Plaza Hotel, and while the area is safe, note that there are a few adult shops nearby — something to keep in mind for more conservative travelers. The hotel also has a nice cafeteria where you can enjoy breakfast or grab something to take away. The coffee and pastries were delicious, and it was convenient to have that option right on site. The hotel location was very convenient to my work place. The staff were very friendly, the older lady in the breakfast was amazing. Although she did not speak English, she made you feels very welcomed. They did not have a dedicated receptionist desk, but there was staff from the bar looked over the people who want to check-in/check-out. The room was rather small, full of fancy furniture but not functional to my taste. No wardrobe, and most the concerning: zero room cleaning (despite I was promised that they will clean the room every 3rd day). There is a fundamental different between being environmental friendly and simply being simply unhygienic and ignorant. The breakfast room always super congested around 8 am. It did not bother me much as I tend to come early, but there were few days where I felt it was so bad to the point of not being fair to the customers who have paid for the breakfast (and seems the manager did not understand this). The room price was rather expensive, even for Brussels' standard.
