"Clean Room. Staff accommodating except the Driver of shuttle bus rude and disrespectful. Only nice to Chinese people. We had a very bad experience on September 22 between 10:30am to 10:50am when going to ride the shuttle service going to the airport. Nice that the manager gave us voucher to get a taxi. Overall excellent service!"

"L'hôtel était fantastique. Le personnel était excellent, très aimable et courtois. L'accès au centre-ville était excellent, grâce à des transports en commun très performants et rapides, à moins de 30 minutes. Le petit-déjeuner était très bon. Le ménage était impeccable. Le seul inconvénient: la piscine était fermée pendant notre séjour d'une semaine."

"The location has easy access to the subway and is accessible to many points of interest (Stanley Park & Granville Island). Staff were helpful and quick to assist with any issues during our stay. Rooms were clean and appropriate for the prices listed. While the lack of an elevator left much to be desired, the staff had assured us that they would be installing one soon, and had staff assist us in bringing our luggage up. Overall, our enjoyment in Vancouver was improved immensely by our choice to stay here, and I look forward to recommending Hotel Modo to friends and family, as well as staying here in the future!"

"The hotel was conveniently located. Did not use the bar/restaurant. The room was comfortable and well maintained. The one issue was the TV… not sure if it was the aspect ratio, the settings, the equipment connected to the TV, or the TV itself, but every channel looked bad to the point of being uncomfortable to watch. Blurry, over-zoomed, under-zoomed, or just bad, the quality of the image resembled a cam recording, where someone goes to a movie theatre and records a movie on their phone and then puts the recording on the internet, but the problem was with every channel and it often seemed like the aspect portion of the problem wasn’t the same on every channel, leading me to think that the equipment connected to the TVs and the TVs themselves might both be the problem."
