Enjoy breathtaking views of Howe Sound from this air-conditioned, two-bedroom apartment at the lower level of a two-storey house. Halfway between Vancouver and Whistler. Only 45 minutes drive to Vancouver Downtown, 25 minutes to West Vancouver; 10 minutes drive to the town of Squamish, and only 7 minutes away from rock climbing destination of Stawamus Chief.

We loved this location - practically right next to Shannon Falls and Murrin Lake, both great for hiking. Also took a day trip to Whistler and did some shopping in Squamish.
We also appreciated that there were spices and oil and vinegar in the cupboard.
Loved eating outside!
The houae really needs some TLC. Fresh paint, remove cob webs and a deep clean. I loves that it had 2 bathrooms . Beautiful view.

The listing was misleading. It was not a "new" apartment, it was a basement suite in an older house that was poorly renovated 10 years ago with no working AC and hard twin mattresses.
That being said, if you don't mind squeaky loud footsteps from the tenants above, the place was clean enough with decent parking and a good view.
We were impressed with how large the suite was. Communication was great. The bedding was cozy and the kitchen was well stocked. We really enjoyed the view and the location was central to everything we wanted to see.
The property manager was very nice! Be careful if it rains you will not be able to see the mountains at all.Other than that, great property and great price!
it is a beautiful home , the view is worth a million dollars. the outdoor area perfect for hanging out , since it is covered and the rain did not stop us from doing that. The details mentin "newly renovated" , I think this is still a work in progress , since some things were still requiring another coat of paint , and light fixture in living room to be replace. The dust bunnies behind furniture and corners were visible , again I think work in progress. Once they finnish final updates , this place will be perfect... I would come back again ,perfect for my family of four.
The view at this property can’t be beaten. Excellent view over the Howe sound and mountains. Beautiful drive on the Sea to Sky highway. Easy to explore surrounding areas. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need except a microwave. The only reason I didn’t give a higher rating is due to the need for repainting and updating of the furniture.

The accommodations were nice, but the space could’ve used a fresh coat of paint and a deep cleaning. It was spacious with a nice seating area outside and parking for 2 vehicles. Garbage/recycling rules were confusing!?! It was advertised as “New” but it was not a new build. The view was ok but some sucker trees needed to be pruned to really enjoy the water view! If a little more upkeep was done to this place, I would recommend it to others.

In town for family wedding
This place was perfect for us. It has everything we needed. But the listing as new is a little deceptive. It may be a new listing but the walls, baseboards, door frames7 and doors are filthy. There is a missing light fixture and we couldn't get the outdoor patio light to work. But other than the "new" misnomer, we were very happy with this stay.

Great location and view
I booked this place because it has two bathrooms, a great view and is close to The Chief. For those reasons, this is a good place to stay. This apartment is not new, it is well used. It could use a fresh coat of paint (the walls are filthy) and a good cleaning. There is rotten wood in the bathroom that has obviously been there a long time, a large spider living above the toilet, and very very dirty vent fans. The beds are very comfortable. If you plan to cook, this might not be your place. The cookware is quite old, handles loose, some of it is rusty. I bought a glass baking pan and left it there because I was not comfortably cooking in a rusty metal pan.The owners were pleasant while we were there. Communication was not prompt or clear during the stay. The laundry is shared with the owners, so if they are using it, you have to plan accordingly. The machine was full for the entire day that I had planned to do our wash.Plan to be an early riser while there- the owners were up very early every morning (before sunrise) and the footsteps are loud and clear through the ceiling.

Needs some TLC
This place satisfied our needs however, the listing does not match the property Pros:-Location-View-Size-storage/hangers-Ease to get to and enterCons:- basement apartment with shared yard, you do Not get the whole home to yourself- Broken glassware upon arrival, 2 drinking glasses were either broken or had chips in them. - Ineffective kitchen utensils and pans. Tongs broken and plastic splitting and Teflon pan severely damaged- shower full of mold and mildew, shower head with tons of calcium build up - confusing labelling for garbage/recycling - uncomfortable seating throughout. Dinning chairs feel like your going to fall through them.- blender listed in amme ities, no blender on site.. wasted frozen fruit, almond milk and yogurt.- Expired coffee in cabinet.This apartment needs a small investment to ensure it is clean and safely inhabitable. Some constructive suggestions for the hosts:- give the bathrooms a thorough scrub to remove mold mildew and calcium build up; replace or repair the dinning chairs; Give the place a coat of scrub-able paint; Replace glassware, cooking utensils and pans; update your listing for accuracy.
