We managed to get a booking with Toowong Villas and they were excellent. They were understanding and ensured we got the right accommodation and were attentive to our predicament. Plastic outdoor furniture which was cracked and broken and dangerous - one of the chairs collapsed resulting in hitting the concrete floor. Kitchen utensils broken and dirty. Dead cockroaches found in the bed room and bath room. We chose Toowong villas because they were pet friendly and convenient to Nissan Arena for sport. Apart from these attributes , there was no other positives. In there hotel information folder it states 1 car per apartment and $10 for extra vehicle per night. (We have a photo of this). We only had 1 vehicle. On our 2nd night we couldn't even get a carpark as it was full and yet they still charged us for a carpark. Not to mention the barking dogs in the below units from what look to be permanent residents. Not very clean and very dated. Charging $15 per night for parking is a money grabbing exercise, some spots aren't undercover and at times you cannot get one close to your unit. No signs on the office to say when they will be available to make a payment so then was charged a surcharge on my card for parking fee.
