Motel is reasonably clean, and one of the cleaning staff members was especially helpful and friendly. The owners were also welcoming and pleasant to deal with.
Unfortunately, our overall experience was let down by the lack of a comfortable sleeping environment. Our room at the back had no block-out curtains, and the bright security lights from the neighbouring car dealership made the room very bright throughout the night. It was difficult to get a good night's sleep.
The motel also seemed to amplify outside noise. Even though there weren't many guests making noise, sounds echoed around the property. We could hear traffic from the nearby highway, crows calling from around 4:00 am each morning, and on one evening, sports cars revving their engines continuously for several hours.
While we appreciated the friendly service and the reasonable cleanliness, we wouldn't recommend this motel for anyone who values a quiet, restful night's sleep.
