"Bucaneiro is centrally located so you can easily walk to downtown to the east and also to Praia do Forno, Praia Brava, and Rocka restaurant. The bathroom is quite small but there was enough space in the room for our luggage. Only 1 person on staff really understood English but he helped us with our bags up to the room and showed us around the property. "I loved the quality of the room’s lighting, sheets, the chairs, the pillows, how clean it was, how comfortable it was with the air conditioner, the Netflix, the free water, the closet set up, the easy check in and out, responsive time on WhatsApp, the leaving my luggage, the banana for breakfast, the area is very walkable, safe, close to areas to check out. I felt so comfortable and able to relax in the villa."

"Fabulous from start to finish. Views are amazing and everything is within walking distance. The steps to access the hotel from the beach are daunting but you get used to it and plan accordingly. Tip: if you are heading towards nearby Ossos Beach for a meal or sunbathing, then just walk on the street from the front of the hotel it’s quick, easy and avoids the steps.
Rooms were lovely and individual. Staff were great and our entire stay felt safe and luxurious. "
