"This historic cottage was just what I was looking for: charming setting, clean home, friendly and responsive host, and easy access to restaurants and pubs nearby as well as public transportation. We toured the surrounding area (Oxford, Avebury, Cotswalds) and loved returning to our quiet little house at the end of the day. Wheatley was a great village. Thank you Jenny for being so accommodating and satisfying our specific needs!"

"Beautifully situated along the canal. Short drive to Blenheim palace, Oxford or Bicester village for shopping. The cottage is clean and cosy. We had dinner at the jolly boatman on Saturday evening. We were very lucky with the weather."

"This is a perfect place to relax and unwind if you're looking for peace and gorgeous farmland. Lots of footpaths nearby, including a nature preserve. A car is necessary to get to nearby attractions like Stonor Park or Waddeston but it would be possible to spend a long weekend here and walk to a nearby pub or creamery that makes decision cheese. Lots of farm stands too, to stock up on locally raised produce. We used the kitchen a lot and found it adequate for all our needs. The family is lovely...

"Great place to stay. Me and the dog loved it. Very quiet (except being on the flight path of RAF Brize Norton). Loved the planes, so it didn't bother me, after the shock of the first one! Beautifully furnished, with an amazing garden and field beyond for the dog. Located close to visit the Cotswold Wildlife Park. Would highly recommend."

"If located at the front of the building, there’s a lot of noise and light from the street and at all hours. You’ll need to bring earplugs and eye mask! Also, be aware that the hot water cylinder only heats overnight, so not unusual to have no hot water in the evenings! Building could do with refurbishment."
