The town holds a street market and livestock market, and has many fine shops to explore, which are located between the fine houses and cottages within the town centre.
Other nearby towns to explore include Much Wenlock, Telford, Church Stretton and Shrewsbury. Local and nearby attractions include Dudmaston Hall, Attingham Park, Ironbridge Gorge, museums, Rays Farm Country Matters, Wenlock Edge, Long Mynd and glider centre, RAF Cosford, Hoo Farm Animal Kingdom, Wonderland at Telford, Weston Park and Wilderhope Manor. Nearby activity centres can provide a range of activities, from mountain boarding, Segway, zip wires, quad bike trekking, clay shooting and archery. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

Good cottage, comfy beds, plenty of space to get around and enjoy, well equipped with all you could
Good cottage, comfy beds, plenty of space to get around and enjoy, well equipped with all you could need for cooking etc., not too far away from shops/local attractions and plenty of places nearby to eat.Outside could do with a tidy and the outdoor seating area is right infront of the downstairs patio doors making it a little uncomfortable to use.Only inconveniences were the ceiling windows had no coverings so from 4.30am til 9pm it was ridiculously bright making for broken sleep and the shower had two settings- either scalding or complete cremation.A feature I enjoyed though some may not is that there isn't a spec of phone signal and the WiFi is absolutely dreadful so if you want access to your phone or TV stick this isn't for you.

Lovely cottage.
Lovely cottage.
No wifi or mobile service (although available in the pub downstairs).
No coat hooks or place for muddy boots.
Make sure you take toilet roll, washing up liquid, tea towels, all toiletries, hairdryer, iron (if needed).
Had a lovely time and was very comfortable - just lacked some essentials.
