"We enjoyed a friendly welcome on arrival by our host being shown to our room on the ground floor with a walk in shower all as promised. The lady of the house is an interior designer and the decoration and furnishings set a high standard. On a Bed and Breakfast booking the bed was comfortable and the breakfast freshly cooked to order. There is off street parking on a terrace in front of the house. There is a footpath down through the well kept garden to Atholl Road and the centre of Pitlochry."

"Slight mix up with room key but quickly and easily resolved. Floor boards on floor 3 landing very creaky, impossible to sneak to bed quietly at gone midnight. Staff pleasant breakfast excellent."

"The room was lovely but no cleaner on our second day to empty bins or replenish teas and coffees etc. went out and bought my own. The restaurant staff were brilliant so efficient. The breakfast was good with enough choice for everyone. The only other problem was the room was on top floor which was not easy for my husband at 77 with a heart condition, apart from that we had a good stay "

"Staff was not friendly and offered no explanations regarding breakfast or which rooms on the main floor were open for guest use. Since it is INCREDIBLY difficult to get to and there’s no towns nearby, we had no options but to eat dinner there. The food was good but this definitely brought up our overall costs. Our stay was okay but given that it was by far our most expensive stay of our Scotland trip, I can’t say I’d recommend it. P "

"Fonab was ok,nothing special lights in bathroom were very poor,bedside lights weren't great i couldn't read my book with them,breakfast was mediocre definitely not as nice nor the quality compare to the last owners not good value for the money you pay."
