Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Duck House. Plenty of space for all of our family, including 6 grandkids! The house is walkable to Peak 8 and the Breck Connect gondola to main street. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook and prepare your meals. It was as though I was in my own home. All of the break out spaces allowed us to be together without being on top of each other.The property company was very responsive and always available. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our primary reason for selecting the Duck House was that it was supposed to be ski in ski out. When you have to walk across 2 roads carrying your skis, put them on, ski down an unformed trail, ski a bit more to a bridge, remove your skis and walk across a bridge and up a hill, put skis back on to get onto the Snowflake lift, that is not in anyone’s estimation ski in ski out to the Snowflake life as it was advertised. The bedding was horrible and uncomfortable in every room, the furniture flimsy, the directions to return through neighbors yards nonexistent and overall certainly not worth $30,000. ##### Elisabeth M. VisitBreck/Pinnacle lodging allowed us to move to the Duck house which was SO beautiful, spacious, and such an incredible home for a big group. We brought our 3 children and their families from Florida and Alabama and had a blast. There was plenty of room for all and the location was fantastic!! And Talk about a dream kitchen!! Two ovens and two dishwashers! Perfect for a large group. We love cooking and had everything we could possibly need at our fingertips. My sister lives in the Denver area and came to visit with us. Gorgeous, spacious house in a great location with a nice view. Well stocked kitchen and bedrooms (extra everything), lots of spaces and places to hang out, close to hiking and a short drive to town. Our only critique is that the bathroom fixtures need to be replaced (some didn’t work properly) and the area/yard around the house needs to be cleaned up (lots of party trash).
